Setup
1. Unpacking and Placement
Carefully remove the printer from its packaging. Remove all protective tapes and packing materials from the exterior and interior of the printer.

Place the printer on a stable, level surface with adequate space around it for ventilation and access to cables. Avoid direct sunlight and areas with extreme temperature or humidity.
2. Installing Toner Cartridges
- Open the front cover of the printer.
- Remove the toner cartridges from their packaging.
- Gently shake each cartridge horizontally a few times to distribute the toner.
- Insert each cartridge into its corresponding slot until it clicks into place.
- Close the front cover.
3. Loading Paper
Open the paper tray and adjust the paper guides to the size of the paper you are loading. Insert the paper stack, ensuring it is not overfilled. The printer supports A4 (21.0 x 29.7 cm) and other standard sizes.

Connect the power cord to the printer and then to a wall outlet. For wired network connection, connect an Ethernet cable to the printer's Ethernet port and to your network router/switch. For direct connection, use the provided USB cable to connect the printer to your computer.
The printer also supports wireless connectivity. Refer to the on-screen setup guide on the LCD display for Wi-Fi configuration.
5. Installing Drivers and Software
Insert the provided software CD into your computer's CD-ROM drive, or download the latest drivers and software from the official Canon website. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Printing Documents
