Setup and Assembly

1. Unpacking and Inspection

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the sander for any signs of damage during transit. Report any damage to your supplier immediately.

2. Mounting the Sander

For stable operation, it is recommended to bolt the sander to a workbench using the base bolt holes. Ensure the mounting surface is sturdy and level.

3. Attaching the Work Table and Miter Gauge

  1. Attach the work table to the disc sander side using the provided fasteners.
  2. Insert the miter gauge into the slot on the work table. This allows for precise angle sanding.

4. Connecting Dust Collection

Connect a suitable dust collection system to the dust port to minimize airborne dust and maintain a clean work area.

Operating Instructions

1. Power Connection

Ensure the ON/OFF switch is in the "OFF" position before plugging the sander into a 220 Volt (AC) power outlet.

2. Starting and Stopping

  • To start the sander, press the green "ON" button.
  • To stop the sander, press the red "OFF" button.

3. Horizontal and Vertical Belt Sanding

The belt platform can be adjusted from 0-90° to accommodate various sanding tasks.

  1. Loosen the locking knob that secures the belt platform.
  2. Adjust the belt platform to the desired angle (horizontal or vertical).
  3. Tighten the locking knob securely before operation.

4. Disc Sanding and Bevel Edges

The sanding table for the disc sander can be adjusted from 0-45° for bevel sanding.

  1. Loosen the table bevel knob located beneath the work table.
  2. Adjust the table to the desired angle using the angle scale.
  3. Tighten the table bevel knob firmly.

5. Belt Tracking Adjustment

If the sanding belt does not run centrally, adjust the tracking knob until the belt is properly aligned.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your sander.

1. Cleaning

  • Always disconnect the power before cleaning.
  • Use a brush or compressed air to remove dust and debris from the motor vents and sanding areas.
  • Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.

2. Changing Sanding Belts

  1. Disconnect power.
  2. Locate the quick-release tension lever for the belt.
  3. Release the tension and remove the old belt.
  4. Install the new belt, ensuring the arrow on the belt matches the direction of rotation on the sander.
  5. Re-engage the tension lever and adjust belt tracking if necessary.

3. Changing Sanding Discs

  1. Disconnect power.
  2. Remove the work table if it obstructs access.
  3. Peel off the old sanding disc.
  4. Clean the disc plate surface.
  5. Apply a new self-adhesive sanding disc, ensuring it is centered.
