4.1 Preparation

  • Turn off the water supply to your kitchen sink.
  • Remove your old faucet.
  • Clean the mounting area on your sink or countertop.
  • Gather necessary tools: adjustable wrench, screwdriver, plumber's putty (optional).

4.2 Faucet Installation Steps

  1. Step 1: Insert Hoses
Put all pre-installed hoses from the faucet into the sink hole. If using the deck plate for 2 or 4-hole mounting, ensure it is properly seated before inserting the faucet.
  2. Step 2: Secure Faucet
From underneath the sink, tighten the gasket, washer, and U-nut with screws to secure the faucet firmly to the sink or countertop.
  3. Step 3: Connect Pull-Down Hose
Connect the pull-down hose using the fast connector. Tip: Hold down the blue button on the connector and insert the pull-out tube directly. A 'click' will confirm it's securely in place. Do not add additional tape or gaskets to this connection.
  4. Step 4: Connect Water Hoses
Attach the gravity ball to the pull-down hose at the appropriate height (typically 6-8 inches from the spray head). Connect the hot and cold water supply hoses to your angle valves. Use the provided 1/2 inch adapters if needed.

5. Operation

Your WOWOW Kitchen Faucet offers versatile functionality for various kitchen tasks.

5.1 Water Flow and Temperature Control

The single handle design allows for easy control of both water flow and temperature. Move the handle left for hot water, right for cold water, and up/down to adjust the flow volume.

5.2 Pull-Down Sprayer with 3 Modes

The faucet features a pull-down sprayer that extends up to 18 inches, providing flexibility for cleaning. It offers three distinct water modes:

  • Stream Mode: Provides a gentle, aerated flow for filling pots and washing delicate items with zero splash.
  • Spray Mode: Delivers a powerful flow to cut through grease and clean dishes efficiently.
  • Sweep Mode: A high-pressure jet stream designed to blast away stubborn food debris and tough stains.

Switch between modes using the rocker switch on the sprayer head. The thickened rocker switch ensures smooth transitions.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your faucet, refer to the following common solutions:

7.1 Sprayer Head Not Retracting

If the sprayer head does not retract smoothly, follow these steps:

  1. Verify Gravity Ball Position: Ensure the gravity ball is correctly positioned on the pull-down hose, allowing sufficient weight for retraction.
  2. Check Plastic Sleeve Installation: Confirm that the plastic sleeve is fully seated in the threaded tube and has adequate space for the pull-out tube's movement. Obstructions can prevent smooth retraction.
Diagram showing two steps to troubleshoot a sprayer head not retracting: 1. Verify the gravity ball position. 2. Check the plastic sleeve installation to ensure it's fully seated with adequate space for movement.

7.2 Leaks or Drips

  • Check all hose connections for tightness.
  • Ensure gaskets are properly seated and not damaged.
  • The faucet uses a premium ceramic cartridge, tested for 500,000 cycles to prevent drips and leaks. If issues persist, contact customer support.
