4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Preparing the Vacuum Bag

  1. Place the food item(s) into a reusable vacuum bag. Ensure the bag is not overfilled and there is sufficient space (at least 1 inch) between the food and the zipper seal.
  2. Use a sealing clip to firmly close the zipper seal of the bag. Run the clip across the entire length of the seal multiple times to ensure a complete and airtight closure.
  3. Ensure the air valve (blue circular patch) on the bag is clean and flat. Do not tear or peel off the valve section.

4.2 Vacuum Sealing Process

  1. Align the suction port of the electric vacuum pump directly over the blue air valve on the bag. Ensure a tight seal between the pump and the valve.
  2. Press the one-touch button on top of the vacuum pump to start the vacuuming process. The pump will begin to extract air from the bag.
  3. The pump features an automatic stop function and will cease operation once the air is exhausted (maximum working time is 50 seconds).
  4. After the pump stops, manually press down on the air valve with your finger to ensure it is fully closed and to minimize any potential air leakage.

4.3 Important Notes for Bag Usage

  • Do not tear or peel the blue patch (air valve) on the vacuum bag, as this will prevent proper vacuum sealing.
  • Ensure the zipper seal is completely closed before vacuuming.
  • For best results, avoid vacuuming liquids directly. If vacuuming moist foods, ensure the liquid does not enter the pump.
Incorrect: Peeling off the air valve

Do not peel off the air valve.

Incorrect: Air valve detached

Ensure valve is intact.

Incorrect: Damaged air valve

Avoid damaging the valve.

Incorrect: Unsealed zipper with food near valve

Ensure zipper is fully sealed.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

5.1 Cleaning the Vacuum Pump

The vacuum pump features a clear liquid tank design. If water or liquid enters this tank during operation, pour it out promptly to prevent damage to the electric pump. The detachable tank and silicon pad make cleaning easier.

  • To clean, detach the liquid tank and silicon pad.
  • Wash these components with mild soap and water.
  • Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and using the pump.
  • Do not immerse the main body of the electric pump in water. Wipe it with a damp cloth if needed.

  1. Wash bags with warm water and mild dish soap.
  2. Rinse thoroughly and allow them to air dry completely before reuse.
  3. Ensure the inside of the bag and the air valve area are dry to prevent mold or bacterial growth.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Pump not turning on: Check if batteries are installed correctly with the right polarity. Ensure batteries are not depleted.
  • Pump running but not vacuuming: Ensure the suction port of the pump is firmly pressed against the bag's air valve, creating an airtight seal. Check if the bag's zipper seal is completely closed. Inspect the air valve for any damage or debris.
  • Bag loses vacuum after sealing: Ensure the zipper seal is fully closed. Manually press the air valve after vacuuming to ensure it's sealed. Check the bag for any punctures or tears.
  • Liquid entering the pump: Immediately stop the pump, detach and clean the liquid tank and silicon pad. Avoid vacuuming excessive liquids.
