Assembly Instructions
Assembly typically takes about 30 minutes. It is recommended to have two people for certain steps.
- Attach Stabilizer Bars: Secure the front and rear stabilizer bars to the main frame using the provided bolts and nuts. Ensure they are firmly tightened.
- Install Pedals: Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. The left pedal screws counter-clockwise, and the right pedal screws clockwise. Tighten securely.
- Mount Seat and Backrest: Attach the seat and backrest to the seat post. Adjust the seat height and position for comfort and secure it.
- Connect Handlebars and Console: Attach the handlebar assembly to the main frame. Connect the sensor wires from the main frame to the LCD display console. Secure the handlebars.
- Attach Resistance Bands: Connect the arm resistance bands to their designated points on the frame.
- Final Check: Before first use, double-check all bolts, nuts, and connections to ensure they are tight and secure.

Operating Instructions
Adjusting Resistance
The Flex Express features 6 levels of magnetic resistance. To adjust the resistance, turn the tension control knob located on the main frame. Turn clockwise for higher resistance and counter-clockwise for lower resistance.

Using the LCD Display
The user-friendly LCD display tracks your workout data. It typically shows the following metrics:
- SCAN: Cycles through all metrics automatically.
- TIME: Duration of your current workout.
- SPEED: Current cycling speed.
- DIST: Distance covered during the workout.
- CAL: Estimated calories burned.
- ODO: Total accumulated distance (odometer).
Use the "MODE" button to select the desired display metric. Press "RESET" to clear current workout data.

Upright and Recumbent Positions
The Flex Express can be used in both upright and recumbent configurations. Adjust the frame and seat position as needed to switch between modes for varied workouts.
Using Arm Resistance Bands
The integrated arm resistance bands allow for upper body workouts while cycling. Hold the handles and perform various arm exercises such as curls, rows, or presses to engage different muscle groups.

Folding and Storage
For convenient storage, the Flex Express can be folded. Loosen the designated folding knob/pin, carefully fold the frame, and secure it in the folded position. The integrated wheels allow for easy transport.

Maintenance
- Regularly wipe down the bike with a damp cloth after use to remove sweat and dust.
- Inspect all bolts and connections periodically to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if necessary.
- Keep the bike in a dry environment to prevent rust.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
