1. Important Safety Instructions
Please read and save these important safety instructions before using this product. Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire, electric shock, injury to persons, or property damage.

- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- This heater has automatic overheat protection. If the heater overheats, it will automatically shut off.
- The unit features cool-touch housing and a safe ceramic element.
- Equipped with a tip-over safety switch that automatically turns off the unit if it is accidentally knocked over.

4. Setup
Follow these steps for easy, no-tool assembly of your Lasko FH515 unit:
- Carefully remove the appliance from its packaging.
- Assemble the two halves of the base. Align the arched cutout of one half onto the arched support of the other half. Press down on the edges to click the two base halves together.
- Flip the heater fan upside down onto the foam inside the package.
- Run the power cord through the center hole of the assembled base.
- Fit the base onto the bottom of the fan by aligning the arrows on the underside.
- Rotate the base clockwise to lock it in place. Note: It is normal for the base to rotate together with the fan motor casing. Keep rotating until the base is locked.
- Thread the cord through all rear cord keepers and put the fan upright.
