Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance. This antenna can be mounted on a roof, in an attic, on a chimney, eave, or mast.

1. Antenna Assembly

  1. Unfold the UHF Reflecting Nets until they click into place.
  2. Open both sides of the VHF Vibrator.
  3. Connect the VHF Signal Connector to the VHF Vibrator.
  4. Use the provided brackets and butterfly wingnuts to attach the VHF Vibrator to the Director Element.
  5. Attach the UV Vibrator and secure it with the butterfly bolt.
  6. Align and attach the VHF Reflectors using the three butterfly bolts.
  7. Snap the reflecting nets into place and slide them onto the antenna.

2. Mounting Location

The antenna's performance is highly dependent on its location and orientation. For best results, mount the antenna outdoors in a high location with a clear line of sight to broadcast towers. The included J-pole and mounting bracket facilitate various mounting options on roofs, attics, chimneys, or eaves.

3. Finding Nearest Antenna Tower

To optimize signal reception, identify the direction of your local broadcast towers. You can use online resources like TV Fool by entering your zip code. This will provide a signal analysis report, indicating the direction and strength of available channels. Adjust your antenna's orientation accordingly for the best reception.

4. Connecting to TV(s)

Connect the coaxial cable from the antenna to your TV's antenna input. If connecting multiple TVs, use the included 4-way TV splitter. Ensure all connections are secure.
