Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Kusini Electric Fondue Pot Set. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and care of your new appliance. Please read all instructions thoroughly before first use and retain for future reference.

Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

  1. Read all instructions before operating the appliance.
  2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  3. To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse the warming base, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.

  11. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to 'Off', then remove plug from wall outlet.
  12. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
  13. Exercise caution when handling the metal melting bowl, especially after heating, as edges may be sharp.

Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Clean: Before first use, wash the removable melting bowl, detachable serving tray, and skewers with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the warming base with a damp cloth.
  3. Assemble: Place the electric warming base on a stable, heat-resistant, and dry surface. Position the 3-section detachable serving tray securely on top of the warming base. Insert the removable 10oz melting bowl into the central opening of the serving tray.

Operating Instructions

The Kusini Electric Fondue Pot Set features two temperature settings: 'Melt' and 'Warm'.

1. Melting Ingredients (e.g., Chocolate)

  1. Ensure the fondue pot is assembled correctly and placed on a stable surface.
  2. Add your desired ingredients (e.g., chocolate chips, broken chocolate bars) into the removable melting bowl. Do not overfill the bowl.
  3. Plug the appliance into a standard electrical outlet.
  4. Turn the control knob to the 'Melt' setting. The appliance will begin to heat, melting the contents. The maximum temperature for melting is approximately 140°F.
  5. Stir occasionally to ensure even melting.
  6. Once the ingredients are fully melted and smooth, proceed to the 'Keeping Warm' step.

2. Keeping Warm

  1. After melting, turn the control knob to the 'Warm' setting. This setting maintains the melted consistency without overheating.
  2. Arrange your desired dipping items (fruits, pretzels, marshmallows, bread, etc.) in the detachable serving tray sections.
  3. Use the provided skewers to dip items into the warm fondue.

3. Using for Cheese Fondue

For cheese fondue, it is recommended to melt the cheese in advance on a stovetop or microwave. Once melted, transfer the cheese to the fondue pot's melting bowl and set the control knob to 'Warm' to maintain its temperature and consistency throughout your gathering.

Maintenance & Cleaning

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the fondue pot from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Disassemble: Remove the melting bowl and the detachable serving tray from the warming base.
  3. Wash Components: Hand wash the melting bowl, serving tray, and skewers with warm, soapy water. Use a non-abrasive sponge or cloth to prevent scratching. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately to prevent water spots.
  4. Clean Warming Base: Wipe the warming base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the warming base in water or any other liquid.
  5. Caution: The rim of the metal melting bowl can be thin and sharp. Exercise caution when washing by hand to avoid cuts.
  6. Storage: Store the clean and dry fondue pot set in a cool, dry place.
