Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons. Read all instructions carefully before operating the appliance.
- Pressure Relief Safety: Pressure exceeding 8kPa will automatically trigger the relief of steam to lower internal pressure.
- Safety Self Relief Protection: The inner pot will lower down upon built-up pressure, creating space between the sealing gasket and the pot to relieve pressure safely.
- Relief Pressure Valve: The relief pressure valve is designed to adjust pressure at an optimum 80kPa inside the pot.
- Anti-Jam Safety: A built-in anti-jam valve prevents blockages during operation.
- Lock & Release Lid Safety: Pressure built up inside the cooker activates a self-locking lid mechanism to prevent accidental opening during operation.
- Safety Thermal Fuse: An exceeding built-up temperature will automatically cut off the thermal fuse to prevent overheating.
- Current Surge Safety: Built-in protection cuts off current surges to prevent over-voltage and electrical damage.
- Micro Safeguard Switch: The lid must be securely properly for pressure to generate during operation, ensuring safe use.
- Thermal Limit Safety: Cooking without food inside will trigger the limiter to terminate power, preventing damage.
