  • Periodically inspect and clean the pinch rollers and feed rollers to prevent material slippage caused by debris.
  • Ensure the cutting area is free of vinyl scraps and dust.

6.2 Blade Replacement

Cutting blades will dull over time and require replacement to maintain cutting precision. The plotter comes with three replaceable blades.

  1. Power off and unplug the plotter.
  2. Carefully remove the blade holder from the carriage.
  3. Unscrew or unclip the old blade from the holder.
  4. Insert a new blade, ensuring it is securely seated.
  5. Reattach the blade holder to the carriage.

Caution: Blades are extremely sharp. Handle with care to avoid injury.

7. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Plotter not powering on.No power, loose cable.Check power cable connection and power outlet. Ensure the power button is pressed correctly.
Material not feeding straight or slipping.Pinch rollers not engaged, material misaligned, dirty rollers.Ensure pinch rollers are lowered and material is aligned. Clean rollers if dirty.
Poor cutting quality or incomplete cuts.Dull blade, incorrect cutting force/speed, material type.Replace blade. Adjust cutting force and speed settings. Perform test cuts on scrap material.
Plotter not connecting to computer/app.Incorrect cable, driver issues, Bluetooth not paired.Verify USB/COM cable connection. Reinstall drivers. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled and paired correctly.
Cutting deviation over long runs.Material not loaded correctly, roller shaft issue.Ensure material is loaded perfectly straight and pinch rollers are firm. While the steel roller shaft minimizes deviation, extreme misalignment can still cause issues.
