3. Setup and Installation

Installation of the Wallbox Pulsar Plus charger requires professional electrical expertise. It is recommended to consult a certified electrician for proper and safe installation, adhering to all local electrical codes and regulations.

3.1 Electrical Requirements

• The charger operates at 48 Amps and requires a 240V electrical supply.
• Confirm whether a 3-wire or 4-wire 240V line is required for your specific installation. A 3-wire line may be sufficient.
• For full 11.5KW (48Amp) feed, a 6-gauge underground-rated line is recommended for outdoor installations.
• The unit is UL Listed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

3.2 Physical Installation

Mount the charger using the provided wall mounting bracket in a location that is accessible and protected from extreme weather conditions. While the unit has good outdoor weather resistance, a covered area is ideal.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Charging Your Vehicle

1. Ensure the Wallbox Pulsar Plus is properly installed and powered on.
2. Connect the J-1772 charging cable to your electric vehicle's charging port.
3. Use the Wallbox mobile app to initiate or manage the charging session. You can start/stop charging, lock/unlock the charger, and set power limits (adjustable from 6A to 40A).
4. The charger can deliver up to 9.6kW, significantly reducing charging times.
