   • AC Power: Connect the provided AC power adapter to the AC powered port on the scale and plug it into a standard electrical outlet.
   • Battery Power: If using batteries, open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale and insert two D batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.

4. Leveling the Scale: Ensure the scale is placed on a flat, stable surface. Use the adjustable feet on the underside of the scale to level it. The scale has a built-in level indicator (often a bubble level) to assist with precise leveling, which is crucial for accurate measurements.

5. Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off: Locate the power switch (usually on the underside or side of the scale) and switch it to the "ON" position. The LCD displays will light up. To turn off, switch to "OFF".
2. Zeroing the Scale: Before weighing, ensure the scale reads "0.000" (or "0.00" depending on the unit). If not, press the ZERO button to reset the display to zero.
3. Tare Function: To weigh items in a container, first place the empty container on the platform. The display will show the container's weight. Press the TARE button. The display will reset to "0.000", effectively subtracting the container's weight. You can now add your items to the container, and the scale will display only the net weight of the items.
4. Unit Switching (KG/LB): The scale supports both kilograms (KG) and pounds (LB). To switch between units, press the KG/LB button. The active unit will be indicated on the display.

5. Price Computing:
   • Place the item to be weighed on the platform. The "WEIGHT" display will show its weight.
   • Using the numeric keypad, enter the unit price (e.g., price per pound or kilogram) into the "UNIT PRICE" display.
   • The "TOTAL PRICE" display will automatically calculate and show the total cost based on the weight and unit price.
   • The scale can store up to 8 unit prices (M1-M7, Store). Refer to the detailed user guide for programming these memory functions.

6. Add-up Function: Use the ADD button to accumulate the total price of multiple items. Weigh the first item, enter its unit price, then press ADD. Repeat for subsequent items. The scale will keep a running total.
7. Clear Total: Press the C button to clear the current total price and unit price entries.
8. Auto Shut-off: The scale features an auto shut-off function to conserve power when not in use for a period.
