This multi-functional product is designed to provide a safe and comfortable sleeping environment for your infant, whether used as a standalone bassinet or securely attached to an adult bed. Its adjustable height and portable design offer convenience and flexibility for parents. Please read this manual thoroughly before assembly and use to ensure proper operation and safety.

Important Safety Information

WARNING: SUFFOCATION HAZARD. Babies have suffocated in bassinets. Always use the mattress provided by the manufacturer. Never add a pillow, comforter, or another mattress for padding. Ensure all parts are correctly assembled and secured before placing an infant in the bassinet. Discontinue use when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees or reaches the maximum weight/height limit specified in the specifications section.

• Always place your baby on their back to sleep.
• Ensure the bassinet is placed on a firm, flat surface.
• Keep the bassinet away from cords, blinds, and other potential hazards.
• Regularly check for loose or damaged parts. Do not use if any part is broken or missing.
• When using in bedside sleeper mode, ensure the bassinet is securely attached to the adult bed using the provided straps and there is no gap between the bassinet and the adult mattress.

Assembly Instructions

The Soobaby Bassinet is designed for easy assembly without the need for additional tools. Follow these steps:

1. Unpack Components: Remove all parts from the packaging and verify against the parts list.
2. Assemble the Frame: Connect the leg components and support bars until they click securely into place. Ensure the wheels are attached to the base.
3. Attach the Bassinet Basket: Securely attach the fabric bassinet basket to the assembled frame. Ensure all clips and zippers are fastened.
4. Insert Mattress: Place the mattress into the bassinet basket. The mattress cover is removable for cleaning.
5. Attach Mosquito Net (Optional): If desired, attach the mosquito net to the designated points on the bassinet frame.

Operating Instructions

1. Bedside Sleeper Mode

This mode allows the bassinet to be placed directly next to your adult bed, providing easy access to your baby.

1. Adjust Height: The bassinet offers 5 height positions, ranging from 16.9 inches (min) to 20.8 inches (max) from the floor to the bottom of the mattress. Adjust the height to align with your adult mattress by pressing the adjustment buttons on the legs.
2. Lower Side Panel: Unzip the side panel and unclip the fasteners to lower the side, allowing it to sit flush with your bed.
3. Secure to Bed: Use the provided bed attachment straps to securely fasten the bassinet to your adult bed frame. Ensure there are no gaps between the bassinet and the adult mattress.
4. Anti-Reflux Position: For infants prone to reflux, one side of the bassinet can be raised unilaterally to create a slight incline (approximately 10 degrees), helping to prevent milk spillage.

2. Standalone Bassinet Mode

When not attached to an adult bed, the bassinet can be used independently in any room.

• Mobility: The bassinet is equipped with wheels for easy movement between rooms. Ensure wheels are unlocked for mobility and locked for stability when stationary.
• Rocking Feature: The wheels can be flipped to engage a rocking function, providing gentle motion to soothe your baby.

3. Playpen/Lowered Mode

For older infants who can sit up or push up, the mattress can be lowered to create a secure play area or a deeper sleeping space.

• Lowering the Mattress: Follow the assembly instructions in reverse to detach the bassinet basket from the upper frame and reattach it to the lower support points, creating a deeper enclosure.

4. Mosquito Net Usage

The detachable mosquito net provides protection from insects, making it suitable for outdoor use or in areas where insects may be present.

• Attachment: Secure the mosquito net to the designated attachment points around the top edge of the bassinet.
• Removal: Unzip the net for easy access to your baby or when not needed.

5. Storage Shelf

A convenient storage shelf is located beneath the bassinet for keeping essential baby items within reach.

Maintenance

• Cleaning Fabric: The mattress sheet cover is removable and can be hand washed. For other fabric parts, spot clean with a mild detergent and damp cloth.
• Cleaning Frame: Wipe the frame with a damp cloth and mild soap. Dry thoroughly.
• Storage: When not in use, the bassinet can be folded and stored in the provided storage bag for portability and protection.

Troubleshooting

• Bassinet feels unstable: Ensure all frame connections are securely clicked into place. If using in standalone mode, verify that all wheels are locked. If in bedside mode, ensure attachment straps are taut.
• Difficulty adjusting height: Check that the adjustment buttons are fully depressed and the legs are free to move. Ensure no fabric is obstructing the mechanism.
• Side panel not lowering: Confirm that both the zipper is fully unzipped and any clips or buttons securing the panel are released.
