Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your steamer.

Cleaning:

Descaling (Mineral Buildup Removal):

Over time, mineral deposits from water can build up inside the steamer, affecting performance. Descale your steamer regularly, especially if you notice reduced steam output or spitting.

  1. Mix a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% distilled water.
  2. Fill the water tank with this solution.
  3. Plug in the steamer and allow it to heat up.
  4. Run the steamer until the tank is empty, directing the steam into a sink or basin.
  5. Repeat the process with fresh distilled water to rinse out any remaining vinegar.
  6. Perform descaling every 1-2 months depending on usage and water hardness.

Storage:

When not in use, ensure the water tank is empty and the steamer is cool and dry. Store the steamer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. The stand-up stable design allows for easy storage.
