1. Setup and Assembly

This section provides detailed instructions for assembling your JT Glass Display Cabinet. It is recommended that two or three people install the cabinet together for safety and ease of assembly.

1.1 Unboxing and Preparation

Carefully unpack all components and verify against the parts list. Ensure you have a clean, flat surface for assembly.

1.2 Base Assembly

Begin by installing the adjustable feet and door suction components onto the bottom plate. The feet can be rotated to adjust the height and ensure stability.

1.3 Installing Glass Panels

Install the side glass panels and back glass panels using the provided connectors. Ensure all connections are secure. Note that gaskets are pre-installed on the glass holes, but not used in the holes on the top/bottom panels.

1.4 Top Plate and Doors

Attach the top plate to the assembled glass structure. Install the glass doors, ensuring they align correctly. The door hinges allow for flexible opening direction (left or right).

1.5 Anti-Tipping Device Installation

To prevent tipping, securely fix the anti-tipping device to the wall and the cabinet. This is crucial for safety, especially in households with children or pets.

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Opening and Closing Doors

The cabinet features two glass doors with magnetic closures. Gently pull the door handle to open and push to close until the magnet engages. The door opening direction can be adjusted during assembly.

2.2 Adjusting Shelf Height

The four glass shelves are designed to be sturdy. To adjust their height, carefully lift the shelf, reposition the metal pins in the desired slots, and then place the shelf back onto the pins. Ensure the shelf is level and stable before placing items on it.

2.3 Using the Lockable Feature

The cabinet is equipped with a lockable mechanism to secure your displayed items. Insert the key into the lock on the door and turn to lock or unlock. Always remove the key after locking to prevent loss or unauthorized access.

3. Maintenance

3.1 Cleaning

For glass surfaces, use a soft, lint-free cloth and a glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that may scratch or damage the glass. For wood particle board surfaces, wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then dry thoroughly.

3.2 Regular Checks

Periodically check all screws, connectors, and the anti-tipping device to ensure they remain tight and secure. Re-tighten if necessary. Inspect the glass for any chips or cracks and address them promptly to prevent further damage or injury.

4. Troubleshooting

4.1 Cabinet is Wobbly

Check if the adjustable feet are properly leveled. Rotate the feet to adjust the height until the cabinet is stable on the floor. Ensure all glass panels and connectors are securely fastened.

4.2 Door Not Closing Properly

Verify that the door hinges are correctly installed and aligned. Check for any obstructions preventing the door from closing fully. Ensure the magnetic closure is intact and functioning.

4.3 Glass Panels Appear Loose

Tighten the screws on the connectors holding the glass panels. If bumper strips are present between glass plates and sides, ensure they are correctly positioned to provide maximum safety and stability.
