Image: This image illustrates the three operating modes of the CREWEEL night light: OFF (light is off), ON (constant lighting), and AUTO (motion-activated lighting).

  • OFF: The light is completely off.
  • ON: The light remains continuously on, regardless of motion or ambient light.
  • AUTO: The light will automatically turn on when motion is detected in a dark environment. It will turn off approximately 25 seconds after motion ceases.

6.2 Adjusting Brightness

In both ON and AUTO modes, you can adjust the brightness:

  • Press the circular brightness adjustment button on the front of the light to cycle through 5 different brightness levels.
  • The light features a brightness memory function, retaining the last selected brightness setting when turned off and on again, or when switching between modes.

6.3 Motion Sensor Guidelines

For optimal performance in AUTO mode:

  • The motion sensor has a detection range of approximately 20 feet (6 meters) and a 120-degree angle.
  • Place the light in an area where motion is expected, such as hallways, stairwells, or closets.
  • Avoid placing the light directly facing heat sources, air conditioning vents, or in areas with significant air currents, as these can trigger false detections.
  • Ensure the sensor is not obstructed by furniture or other objects.

Image: This diagram explains the functionality of the sensitive motion sensor. The light activates when motion is detected within a 20-foot range and a 120-degree angle. It automatically turns off approximately 25 seconds after motion ceases, conserving battery life.

7. Maintenance

  • To clean the night light, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the finish or internal components.
  • Ensure the charging port is free of dust and debris.
