Safety Instructions

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  • Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.

  • Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
  • Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
  • Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
  • Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
  • Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to battery pack, picking up or carrying the appliance.
  • Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer.
  • Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance or the battery pack.

LED Display Indicators

Setup

Assembly

  1. Insert the extension wand into the main motor unit until it clicks into place.
  2. Attach the motorized floor brush to the other end of the extension wand until it clicks.
  3. For handheld use, attach the desired accessory (crevice tool or 2-in-1 brush tool) directly to the main motor unit.

Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the battery. The battery can be charged while attached to the vacuum or separately.

  1. Connect the power adapter to the charging port on the battery pack or the main unit.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
  3. The LED display will show charging progress. A full charge typically takes 4-5 hours.

The vacuum can be charged while mounted on the wall, or the battery can be removed and charged independently.

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off and Mode Selection

  1. Press the power button to turn the vacuum on. It will start in the default power mode.
  2. Press the speed control button on the LED display to cycle through the three available power levels (low, medium, high) to suit your cleaning needs.
  3. Press the power button again to turn the vacuum off.

Using Different Configurations

The TASVAC S8 can be used in various configurations for versatile cleaning:

  • Stick Vacuum: Use with the extension wand and motorized floor brush for cleaning floors and carpets. The front LED lights illuminate dust in dark areas.
  • Handheld Vacuum: Detach the extension wand and attach the crevice tool or 2-in-1 brush tool directly to the main unit for cleaning furniture, car interiors, stairs, and tight spaces.
  • Extended Reach: Use the extension wand with a smaller attachment for cleaning high ceilings, curtains, or hard-to-reach areas.

Surface Compatibility

The TASVAC S8 is designed for various floor types:

The vacuum is suitable for hardwood floors and medium pile carpets, but not recommended for high pile carpets.

  • Hardwood Floors: Excellent for hard surfaces. The LED lights help spot dust.
  • Medium Pile Carpet: Suitable for most carpets with medium pile.
  • High Pile Carpet: Not recommended for high pile carpets as it may reduce efficiency or cause brush roll entanglement.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your vacuum cleaner.

Emptying the Dustbin

Empty the dustbin when the 'Filter Cleaning Reminder' appears on the LED display or when the MAX line is reached.

  1. Hold the main unit over a trash can.
  2. Press the dustbin release button to open the bottom flap and empty the contents.
  3. Close the dustbin flap securely until it clicks.

Cleaning the Filter

The filter should be cleaned regularly, especially when the 'Filter Cleaning Reminder' is active.

  1. Twist and remove the dustbin from the main unit.
  2. Remove the filter assembly from the dustbin.
  3. Tap the filter gently to remove loose dust. For a deeper clean, rinse the filter under running water.
  4. Ensure the filter is completely dry before reassembling. Allow at least 24 hours for air drying.

Cleaning the Brush Roll

Check the brush roll regularly for tangled hair or debris.

  1. Turn off the vacuum and detach the motorized floor brush.
  2. Locate the brush roll release tab/lock on the side of the brush head and open it.
  3. Remove the brush roll.
  4. Use scissors or a cleaning tool to cut and remove any tangled hair or fibers.
  5. Reinsert the brush roll and secure the lock.

Troubleshooting
