3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the handle of the torque wrench.
  2. Use a suitable tool (e.g., a small screwdriver) to open the battery compartment.
  3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Securely close the battery compartment cover.

3.2 Attaching Sockets

  1. Select the appropriate 1/4 inch drive socket for your application.
  2. Align the square drive of the socket with the square drive on the wrench's ratchet head.
  3. Push the socket firmly onto the drive until it clicks into place.
  4. To remove, press the quick-release button (if present) and pull the socket off.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Press the P/C button to power on the device. The LCD screen will illuminate. To power off, press and hold the P/C button for a few seconds.

4.2 Unit Selection

Press the U/S button to cycle through the available measurement units: N-m, kgf-cm, lbf-ft, and lbf-in. Select the desired unit for your application.

4.3 Mode Selection

Press the M button to switch between operating modes:

  • Real-Time Mode (T): Displays the current torque being applied.
  • Peak Mode (P): Captures and displays the maximum torque applied during an operation.

4.4 Setting Preset Torque Values

In a preset mode, use the Up and Down arrow buttons to adjust the target torque value. Long press these buttons for faster adjustment. The wrench can store up to 9 preset values.

4.5 Applying Torque

  1. Attach the appropriate socket to the wrench.
  2. Set the desired torque value and unit.
  3. Place the socket onto the fastener.
  4. Apply steady force to the wrench handle. The digital display will show the applied torque.
  5. As you approach the target torque, the LED indicator will light up, and the buzzer will sound, indicating that the target torque has been reached. Stop applying force immediately upon indication.
