3. Package Contents
Verify that all items are present in the package:
- 1 x AUX IN Bluetooth Module
- 1 x Removable Microphone
4. Setup and Installation
Installation requires access to the rear of your car stereo. If you are unfamiliar with car audio wiring, it is recommended to seek professional assistance.
- Disconnect Power: Before beginning, ensure your vehicle's battery is disconnected to prevent electrical shorts.
- Remove Car Stereo: Carefully remove your car stereo from the dashboard to access its rear connections. Refer to your car's or stereo's manual for specific instructions.
- Connect Blue Connector: Locate the compatible AUX input port on the back of your Alpine car stereo. Connect the blue connector from the Bluetooth module into this port. This is typically a 'Full-Speed' or 'Ai-NET' type connector.
- Connect Power Wires: The module has two bare wires: one red and one black.
- Connect the red wire to a 12V switched power source (ACC) in your car's wiring harness. This ensures the module powers on and off with your ignition.
- Connect the black wire to a reliable ground point in your car's wiring harness or chassis.
Ensure all power connections are secure and properly insulated.
- Connect Microphone: Plug the removable microphone into the 3.5mm jack on the Bluetooth module. Position the microphone in a suitable location, such as on the sun visor or A-pillar, for optimal voice pickup during calls.
- Secure Module and Wires: Route the module and wires neatly and securely behind the dashboard, ensuring they do not interfere with any moving parts or controls.
- Reinstall Car Stereo: Carefully reinstall your car stereo into the dashboard.
- Reconnect Battery: Reconnect your vehicle's battery.

5. Operating Instructions
Once installed, follow these steps to operate the Bluetooth module:
- Activate AUX Mode: Turn on your car stereo and select the AUX input mode. This may be labeled as 'AUX', 'CD Changer', or similar, depending on your Alpine model. Refer to your stereo's manual if you are unsure how to select the AUX input.
- Pairing with a Bluetooth Device:
- On your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled device, go to the Bluetooth settings.
- Scan for available devices. The module should appear as a discoverable device (e.g., 'Aramox Bluetooth' or similar).
- Select the module to pair. No password is typically required.
- Once paired, your device will indicate a successful connection.
- Audio Playback: After successful pairing, any audio played on your connected device (music, navigation prompts, podcasts) will be transmitted wirelessly to your car's speakers. Control playback (play/pause, skip tracks) directly from your connected device.
- Hands-Free Calling: When a call comes in, the audio will switch to the call. Use the connected microphone for hands-free communication. Answer and end calls using your smartphone's controls.

6. Maintenance
The Aramox AUX Bluetooth Module requires minimal maintenance:
- Ensure all connections remain secure. Loose connections can lead to intermittent audio or power issues.
- Keep the module and microphone free from excessive dust or moisture.
- Avoid exposing the module to extreme temperatures.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Aramox AUX Bluetooth Module, refer to the following troubleshooting steps:
- No Power to Module:
- Check the red and black power wire connections. Ensure they are securely connected to a 12V switched power source and a good ground, respectively.
- Verify that your car's ignition is on (ACC position).
- Cannot Pair Bluetooth Device:
- Ensure the car stereo is in AUX mode. The module may not be discoverable if the stereo is in another source mode.
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone or device.
- Try restarting your smartphone's Bluetooth function or the phone itself.
- If previously paired, try 'forgetting' the device on your phone and re-pairing.
- No Audio Output:
- Confirm the car stereo is set to the correct AUX input source.
- Ensure your Bluetooth device is successfully paired and playing audio.
- Check the volume levels on both your car stereo and your connected Bluetooth device.
- Verify the blue connector is fully seated in the car stereo's AUX port.
- Bluetooth Connects but Head Unit Does Not Communicate:
- This often indicates that the car stereo is not correctly set to the AUX input, or the AUX input itself is not enabled. Consult your Alpine stereo's manual for instructions on enabling and selecting the AUX input.
- Ensure the module is compatible with your specific Alpine head unit model.
- Poor Microphone Quality:
- Check the microphone's connection to the module.
- Adjust the microphone's position to be closer to the driver and away from air vents or other noise sources.
