Setup

1. Charging the Device

The AMERTEER RF071 has a built-in rechargeable lithium battery. Before first use, or when the battery is low, charge the device using the provided USB cable.

  1. Locate the charging port on the side of the pointer.
  2. Connect the small end of the USB charging cable to the pointer.
  3. Connect the larger end of the USB charging cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
  4. The LED indicator will show charging status. A full charge typically takes about 1.5 hours and provides approximately 1 week of use.

2. Connecting the Receiver

The RF071 uses a dual-type USB receiver (USB-A and USB-C compatible) for wireless connection. No software installation is required.

  1. Gently pull out the USB receiver from the bottom of the pointer.
  2. Insert the receiver into an available USB-A or USB-C port on your computer or tablet.
  3. The system will automatically detect and install the necessary drivers. This is a plug-and-play device.
  4. Turn on the power switch on the side of the pointer. The LED indicator will illuminate, signifying a successful connection.

Operating Instructions

Once connected, the AMERTEER RF071 is ready for use with your presentation software.

Basic Functions:

  • Laser Pointer: Press the Laser Button (sun icon) to activate the red laser beam. Release to turn off.
  • Page Up: Press the Page Up (up arrow) button to move to the previous slide.
  • Page Down: Press the Page Down (down arrow) button to move to the next slide.
  • Full Screen Mode: Long press the Page Up button to enter or exit full screen presentation mode.
  • Black Screen Mode: Long press the Page Down button to toggle a black screen, useful for focusing audience attention away from the slide.
  • Volume Control: Use the Volume +/- buttons on the side to adjust audio output.
