1. Introduction

The LDHTHOPI LB100-1 Buffer Polisher is a high-performance power tool designed for efficient sanding, polishing, and waxing across various surfaces. Equipped with a powerful 1600W motor and 7 variable speed settings, it offers versatility for both delicate and aggressive tasks. 2. Safety Instructions

WARNING: Always read and understand all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations, and specifications provided with this power tool. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.

• Work Area Safety: Keep work area clean and well lit. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
• Electrical Safety: Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions.
• Personal Safety: Stay alert, watch what you are doing, and use common sense when operating a power tool. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection, hearing protection, and a dust mask.
• Tool Use and Care: Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools.
• Overheating Prevention: When using the polishing machine, do not apply excessive pressure on the head to avoid overloading. A single working time should not exceed 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, please stop and allow the motor to cool for 5 minutes before continuing to prevent overheating.

5. Setup

1. Attaching the Polishing Disk:
   • Select the desired polishing disk (150mm or 180mm) based on your application.
   • Align the disk with the spindle of the polisher.
   • Press the spindle lock button located on the polisher head.
   • Rotate the disk until the spindle locks into place.
   • Securely tighten the disk onto the spindle using the provided wrench.
2. Attaching Handles:

   The polisher offers three handling methods for user comfort and control:

   • Direct Use: Hold the polisher directly by its main body.
   • D-Handle (Top Handle): Attach the D-handle to the designated mounting points on the polisher head using the provided screws and hex key. This offers a secure grip for two-handed operation.
   • Side Handle: Screw the side handle into one of the threaded holes on either side of the polisher head. This provides an alternative grip for specific angles or extended use.

3. Attaching Polishing/Sanding Pads:

   The polishing disks feature a hook-and-loop (Velcro) surface. Simply press the desired foam pad, wool pad, or sandpaper onto the polishing disk until it adheres firmly.

6. Operating Instructions

The LDHTHOPI Buffer Polisher is designed for a wide range of applications, from heavy-duty sanding to fine polishing and waxing. Always ensure the surface is clean and free of loose debris before starting.

1. Power Connection: Plug the polisher into a standard 110V AC power outlet.
2. Speed Adjustment: Use the 7-variable speed dial (1000-3500 RPM) to select the appropriate speed for your task.
   • Lower Speeds (1-3): Ideal for delicate polishing, waxing, and spreading compounds.
   • Medium Speeds (4-5): Suitable for general polishing and light swirl removal.
   • Higher Speeds (6-7): Best for heavy-duty sanding, removing deep scratches, oxidation, and stubborn stains.
3. Starting the Polisher: Press the on/off switch to start the tool. For continuous operation, engage the trigger lock button.
4. Application Techniques:
   • Sanding (with sandpaper pads): Use 1000-grit or 2000-grit pads for paint correction or rust removal. Apply light, even pressure and move the polisher in overlapping passes.
   • Compounding/Polishing (with foam pads): Apply a small amount of compound or polish directly to the pad or the work surface. Start at a low speed to spread the product, then increase speed as needed. Work in small sections, using overlapping passes.
     • Wool/Orange/Black Pads: For effectively removing deep scratches, oxidation, and stubborn stains.
     • Yellow/Red Polishing Pads: Perfect for touching up and enhancing the shine of your car's paint.
     • Green/Blue Polishing Pads: Great for removing light swirls and fine scratches for a flawless body finish.
   • Waxing (with wool pads or soft foam pads): Apply a thin, even layer of wax. Use low speed and minimal pressure to spread and buff the wax.

5. Important Usage Note: To prevent motor overheating and ensure product longevity, avoid applying excessive pressure. Limit continuous operation to 15 minutes, followed by a 5-minute cooling period.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your LDHTHOPI Buffer Polisher.

• Cleaning: After each use, wipe down the polisher body with a clean, damp cloth. Remove any residue from the polishing disk. Clean used pads thoroughly according to their material type (e.g., rinse foam pads with water and mild soap, allow to air dry).
• Carbon Brush Replacement: The polisher is equipped with replaceable carbon brushes. If the motor performance decreases or the tool stops working, the brushes may need replacement.
  • Locate the brush caps on the sides of the motor housing.
  • Unscrew the caps using a flathead screwdriver or the provided tool.
  • Remove the old carbon brushes.
  • Insert the new carbon brushes, ensuring they are oriented correctly.
  • Securely screw the caps back into place.

  The product includes an extra set of carbon brushes for convenience.

• Storage: Store the polisher and its accessories in the provided carrying bag in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
