5. Maintenance

5.1 Water Resistance (10 ATM / 100 Meters)

Your watch is water resistant up to 10 ATM (100 meters), making it suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and showering. It is not recommended for high-impact water sports or scuba diving. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before exposing the watch to water.

5.2 Cleaning

To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe the case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using chemical cleaners.

5.3 Battery Replacement

The watch is powered by a non-standard battery. When the battery needs replacement, it is recommended to take your watch to an authorized Breil service center or a qualified watchmaker to ensure proper sealing and water resistance integrity.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Watch not running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If the watch still does not run, the battery may need replacement.
  • Incorrect time: Refer to Section 3.1 for instructions on setting the time.
  • Chronograph hands not resetting to zero: This may require a chronograph reset procedure, which typically involves pulling the crown out and using the pushers to align the hands. Consult a professional if the issue persists.
