Safety Precautions:
- Always disconnect the mixer grinder from the power supply before attempting any installation or repair.
- Ensure your hands are dry and you are working in a well-lit area.
- Do not attempt installation if you are unfamiliar with electrical wiring.
Installation Steps:
- Disconnect Power: Unplug the mixer grinder from the wall outlet.

- Remove Old Switch: Disconnect all wires from the old switch and remove it from its mounting.
- Install New Switch: Insert the new doctorspare speed control switch into the mounting hole.

Operating Instructions
The doctorspare speed control switch provides three distinct speed settings for your mixer grinder, in addition to an off position.
- Off (0): The mixer grinder is completely off.
- Speed 1: Lowest operating speed.
- Speed 2: Medium operating speed.
- Speed 3: Highest operating speed.
To operate, ensure the mixer grinder is properly assembled and plugged into a suitable power outlet. Rotate the knob clockwise to select the desired speed setting. Rotate counter-clockwise to turn the appliance off.
Maintenance
The doctorspare speed control switch is designed for durability and requires minimal maintenance.
- Cleaning: If the switch or knob becomes dirty, wipe it with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the switch in water.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the switch and its connections for any signs of wear, damage, or loose wiring. If any issues are found, disconnect power and address them immediately.
- Avoid Overload: Ensure your mixer grinder is used within its specified wattage range (550-1000 watts) to prevent undue stress on the switch and motor.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your speed control switch, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Switch does not turn on/off | No power to mixer grinder; Loose wire connection; Faulty switch. | Check power outlet and mixer grinder plug. Disconnect power and check wire connections inside the mixer grinder. If connections are secure, the switch may need replacement. |
| Only some speeds work | Loose wire connection to specific speed terminal; Internal switch fault. | Disconnect power and check wire connections to speed terminals (1, 2, 3). If connections are secure, the switch may be partially faulty and require replacement. |
| Knob is loose or falls off | Knob not properly seated; Damaged knob or switch shaft. | Ensure the knob is pushed firmly onto the switch shaft. If it still doesn't hold, inspect the knob and shaft for damage. Replacement of either component may be necessary. |
If troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue, it is recommended to consult a qualified appliance repair technician.
