Introduction

Compatibility Note:

This RF remote control is exclusively designed for the MAXCIO RF WiFi shutter relay. It is not compatible with other brands of switches or other Maxcio shutter switches.

Setup

1. Battery Installation

The remote control contains a CR2430 button cell battery. Before first use, remove the plastic insulating film to activate the battery.

Important:

For effective reception of RF remote commands, ensure the side of the battery with the small white square is facing outwards during installation.

2. Pairing Instructions

To pair the remote control with your Maxcio RF WiFi shutter module:

  1. Ensure the Maxcio RF WiFi shutter module is powered on and ready for pairing.
  2. Press and hold the Up button on the remote control for 5 seconds.
  3. The indicator light on the curtain module will flash twice upon successful pairing.

Operating the Remote Control

General Operation

Once the RF remote control is successfully paired with the curtain module, you can control the shutter even if the module is not connected to Wi-Fi.

  • Press the Up button to open the shutter.
  • Press the Middle button to stop the shutter.
  • Press the Down button to close the shutter.

Pairing Limits

  • One remote control can be paired with multiple curtain modules.
  • A single curtain module can only be paired with a maximum of 3 remote controls.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

When the remote control's performance degrades or it stops responding, the CR2430 button cell battery may need replacement.

  1. Carefully open the remote control's battery compartment.
  2. Remove the old CR2430 battery.
  3. Insert a new CR2430 battery, ensuring the positive (+) side (the side with the small white square) is facing outwards.
  4. Close the battery compartment securely.

Disposal Warning:

Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations. Keep button cell batteries out of reach of children.

Troubleshooting
