5. Setup & Installation
- Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the alarm unit and insert 3x AAA alkaline batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
- Choose Installation Location: Select a clean, dry surface on a door, window, or cabinet. Ensure the alarm unit and magnetic bar can be mounted side-by-side on the frame and the moving part (door/window) respectively.
- Clean Surface: Wipe the chosen area with a clean cloth to remove dust or grease.
- Attach Adhesive Pads: Peel off the protective film from one side of the adhesive pads and firmly attach them to the back of the alarm unit and the magnetic bar.
- Mount Alarm Unit: Peel off the remaining protective film from the alarm unit's adhesive pad. Press the alarm unit firmly onto the desired location on the door/window frame.
- Mount Magnetic Bar: Peel off the remaining protective film from the magnetic bar's adhesive pad. Align the magnetic bar with the alarm unit, ensuring the alignment arrows on both components point towards each other. The distance between the alarm unit and the magnetic bar must be less than 10mm (0.4 inches) when the door/window is closed. Press the magnetic bar firmly onto the moving part of the door/window.

Important: The alarm unit and magnetic bar must be in close proximity (less than 10mm) when the door/window is closed for the system to function correctly. If the gap is too wide, the alarm may not arm or trigger reliably.
6. Operating Instructions
The alarm system is controlled via the included 4-button remote control:
- Arm Button (๐): Press this button to arm the alarm. A short beep will confirm that the alarm is armed. If the door/window is opened while armed, the alarm will sound.
- Disarm Button (๐): Press this button to disarm the alarm. A short beep will confirm that the alarm is disarmed. The alarm will not sound if the door/window is opened.
- Panic Button (โก): Press this button to immediately trigger the alarm, regardless of the arm/disarm status. This can be used in emergency situations.
- Doorbell/Coding Button (๐): Press this button to switch the alarm unit into doorbell mode. When the door/window is opened, the unit will emit a chime sound instead of an alarm. Press again to return to alarm mode. This button is also used for pairing additional remotes or alarms (see Section 8).

7. Battery Information
The alarm unit requires 3x AAA alkaline batteries. The remote control comes with a pre-installed battery, which is typically a button cell battery.
