4. Setup & Operation

4.1 Connecting the Controller

Ensure the heating pad is laid flat. Connect the controller cable securely to the heating pad's connector. Then, plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

4.2 Powering On and Adjusting Heat

1. Press the power button on the controller to turn on the heating pad.
2. Use the temperature adjustment buttons (usually '+' and '-') to select your desired heat level from the 4 available settings. The indicator lights on the controller will show the current setting.

4.3 Dry Heat Therapy

For dry heat therapy, simply place the heating pad on the desired body area. The weighted design will help keep it in place, providing consistent warmth.

4.4 Moist Heat Therapy

For deeper penetrating relief, moist heat therapy can be applied. Lightly spray a fine mist of water onto the surface of the heating pad that will be in contact with your body. Do not saturate the pad. Ensure the controller and power connections remain dry.

4.5 Auto Shut-Off Feature

The heating pad is equipped with an automatic 2-hour shut-off feature. This safety mechanism will turn off the heating pad after approximately 120 minutes of continuous use. To restart, simply press the power button again.

5. Care & Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning Instructions

The OCTORO Weighted Heating Pad is machine washable. Follow these steps for cleaning:

1. Ensure the heating pad is completely cool.
2. Disconnect the controller from the heating pad.
3. Machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water (40℃/104℉).
4. Do not bleach.
5. Do not tumble dry. Air dry only.
6. Do not iron.
7. Ensure the heating pad is completely dry before reconnecting the controller and using it again.

5.2 Storage

When not in use, store the heating pad in a cool, dry place. Avoid folding it tightly or placing heavy objects on it, as this can damage the internal heating elements.
