Setup

1. Battery Installation

The remote control requires two (2) 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries (not included).

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Slide the battery cover downwards to open it.
3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals match the diagrams inside the compartment.
4. Slide the battery cover back into place until it clicks securely.

2. Initial Pairing / Remote Reset Procedure

If the remote does not respond after battery installation, or if you are experiencing issues, perform the following reset and pairing steps:

1. Place your remote control within 10 feet of your Fire TV device.
2. Simultaneously press and hold the Left button, Menu button, and Back button for 10 seconds.
3. Release the buttons and wait for 60 seconds.
4. Remove the batteries from your remote control.
5. Unplug your Fire TV device from its power source and wait 60 seconds.
6. Plug your Fire TV device back in and wait for the Home Screen to display on your television.
7. Reinsert the batteries into your remote control.
8. Press and hold the Home button on your remote control for 40 seconds.
9. Wait an additional 60 seconds for the setup process to complete. The remote should now be paired with your TV.
