2. Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the camera battery. Insert the battery into the provided charger and connect the charger to a power outlet. The charging indicator light will show the charging status. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.

3. Inserting the Battery and Memory Card
Open the battery/card compartment cover on the bottom of the camera. Insert the charged battery, ensuring it clicks into place. Then, insert the SD memory card with the label facing the correct direction until it locks. Close the compartment cover securely.

4. Attaching the Tripod
For stable shots, especially with high zoom or long exposures, attach the camera to the included tripod. Locate the tripod mount on the bottom of the camera and screw the tripod plate onto it securely. Extend the tripod legs to the desired height.

Operating the Camera
1. Powering On/Off
Press the power button located on the top of the camera to turn it on or off. The lens will extend when powered on.
2. Basic Shooting Modes
Rotate the mode dial to select your desired shooting mode. Common modes include:
- Auto Mode: The camera automatically optimizes settings for the scene.
- Program (P) Mode: Allows more control over settings while the camera sets exposure.
- Shutter Priority (Tv) Mode: You set the shutter speed, and the camera sets the aperture.
