4. Setup and Installation
It is highly recommended that the installation of this water heater be performed by a certified professional to ensure safety and proper functioning.
4.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the water heater from its packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit. Do not install if the product appears damaged.

4.3 Mounting Location

4.4 Plumbing Connections
Connect the inlet and outlet pipes as indicated on the unit. Ensure all connections are watertight. A pressure relief valve must be installed according to local codes.
4.5 Electrical Connection
Connect the water heater to a dedicated earthed electrical outlet. Verify that the power supply matches the appliance's requirements. Do not use extension cords.
IMPORTANT: Before switching on the power, ensure the water heater tank is completely filled with water. Operating an empty tank will damage the heating element and void the warranty.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Filling the Tank
Before connecting to power, open a hot water tap in your home to allow air to escape from the water heater and pipes. Turn on the cold water supply to the water heater. Water will begin to fill the tank. Once water flows steadily from the hot water tap, the tank is full. Close the hot water tap.
5.2 Powering On
Plug the water heater into the earthed electrical outlet. Switch on the power supply. The indicator light on the unit will illuminate, indicating that the heating process has begun.
5.3 Temperature Adjustment
Use the temperature control knob on the front of the unit to set your desired water temperature. The water heater will automatically heat the water to the set temperature and maintain it.

5.4 Shutting Down
To turn off the water heater, switch off the power supply at the wall outlet. For extended periods of non-use, it is recommended to also turn off the cold water supply valve to the unit.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficiency of your water heater. Always disconnect power before performing any maintenance.
6.1 Cleaning the Exterior
Wipe the exterior of the water heater with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
6.2 Draining the Tank (Annual)
To drain the tank, first disconnect power and turn off the cold water supply. Open a hot water tap in your home to allow air to escape. Connect a hose to the drain valve at the bottom of the heater and direct it to a suitable drain. Open the drain valve. Once drained, close the drain valve and refill the tank as per Section 5.1.
6.3 Anode Rod Inspection/Replacement
The magnesium anode rod helps protect the tank from corrosion. It should be inspected annually by a qualified technician and replaced if significantly depleted.
6.4 Pressure Relief Valve
Periodically check the pressure relief valve by lifting the lever. Ensure water flows freely and then reseats properly. If it does not, contact a technician. Do not attempt to plug or restrict the valve.
