VIMILOLO Bike Floor Pump (Classic/No Gauge) Instruction Manual

Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the VIMILOLO Bike Floor Pump, designed for inflating bicycle tires with both Presta and Schrader valves, as well as other inflatables. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper operation and longevity of your pump.

The VIMILOLO Bike Floor Pump features a durable high-strength steel construction for inner and outer tubes, ensuring wear resistance and smooth operation. The rubber tube is detachable, frost-proof, and high-temperature resistant. It is designed for easy inflation up to 160 PSI maximum pressure.

Setup

Your VIMILOLO Bike Floor Pump comes pre-assembled. Before first use, ensure all components are securely attached.

1. Unfold the Base: Extend the metal foot stand at the bottom of the pump for stability during use.

2. Prepare the Valve Head: The pump features a dual valve head compatible with both Presta and Schrader valves. No internal adjustments are needed to switch between valve types.

Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to inflate your tires or other items:

  1. Identify Valve Type: Determine if your tire has a Presta valve (thinner, with a locknut) or a Schrader valve (wider, like a car tire valve).
  2. Prepare the Valve:
    • For Presta valves: Unscrew the small locknut at the top of the valve stem.
    • For Schrader valves: No preparation needed.
  3. Attach the Pump Head: Push the appropriate opening of the dual valve head firmly onto the tire valve. For Presta, use the smaller hole; for Schrader, use the larger hole.
  4. Secure the Lock Lever: Flip the lock lever on the pump head to secure it to the valve. This prevents air leakage during inflation.
  5. Inflate: Place your feet on the foot stand for stability. Grip the T-shaped handle and push down firmly, then pull up. Repeat this motion to pump air into the tire.
  6. Monitor Pressure (if using an external gauge): This model does not include an integrated pressure gauge. Use an external pressure gauge to check the tire pressure periodically to avoid over-inflation. Refer to your tire's sidewall for recommended pressure.
  7. Remove Pump Head: Once the desired pressure is reached, flip the lock lever back to the open position and quickly pull the pump head off the valve.
  8. Secure Presta Valve: If using a Presta valve, screw the locknut back down to seal the valve.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the pump body with a damp cloth to remove dirt and dust. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
  • Lubrication: Periodically apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the pump shaft to ensure smooth operation.
  • Hose and Valve Head Inspection: Check the hose and valve head regularly for cracks, wear, or damage. Replace if necessary to prevent air leaks.
  • Storage: Store the pump in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the foot stand is folded and the hose is secured to the pump body for compact storage.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Air leaks from valve head during inflation.Pump head not securely attached or lock lever not fully engaged.Ensure the pump head is pushed firmly onto the valve and the lock lever is fully flipped to the closed position. Check the rubber gasket inside the valve head for wear.
Pump is difficult to push down or pull up.Lack of lubrication on the pump shaft or internal seals are dry.Apply silicone-based lubricant to the pump shaft. If the issue persists, internal seals may need inspection or replacement.
No air is being pumped into the tire.Valve stem is blocked, pump hose is damaged, or internal pump mechanism is faulty.Check the tire valve for obstructions. Inspect the pump hose for kinks or damage. If the pump mechanism is suspected, contact customer support.
Difficulty inflating Presta valves.Presta valve locknut not unscrewed or valve core stuck.Ensure the Presta valve locknut is fully unscrewed before attaching the pump head. Briefly press the valve core to release any sticking.
