6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your VLAND LED Tail Lights, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Clean the lens with a soft cloth and mild automotive soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the lens or finish.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the tail lights for any signs of damage, loose connections, or condensation.
- Condensation: The tail lights are designed to be waterproof. However, minor condensation can sometimes occur due to temperature changes. If condensation persists, ensure the rear dust cover is properly sealed. For persistent condensation, refer to the troubleshooting section.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your VLAND LED Tail Lights, consider the following:
7.1 Common Issues
- Lights Not Functioning: Check all electrical connections to ensure they are secure. Verify that the vehicle's fuses related to the tail lights are intact.
- Sequential Turn Signal Not Working: Ensure the green plug on the wiring harness is connected if you desire the sequential feature. If it is connected and still not working, check the wiring for any damage.
- Condensation Inside the Lens: Small amounts of condensation can occur due to temperature fluctuations. This usually dissipates naturally. To assist, you can apply heat to the assemblies using a hairdryer or heat gun to the lenses. Alternatively, park the vehicle in direct sunlight. Ensure the dust cover is securely in place. If condensation is severe or persistent, contact customer support.
