Setup

  1. Connect Power Cord: Insert the provided power cord into the AC input receptacle of the GP-A240-050 power supply.
  2. Connect to Power Outlet: Plug the other end of the power cord into a standard 100-240V AC wall outlet. Ensure the outlet is grounded.
  3. Connect LAN Cable: Connect an Ethernet cable from your network router or switch to the LAN port on the power supply.
  4. Connect POE Device: Connect another Ethernet cable from the POE port on the power supply to your Power over Ethernet (PoE) compatible device (e.g., IP camera, wireless access point).
  5. Verify Connection: Once connected, the power supply will provide both data and power to the connected PoE device.

Operating

The GP-A240-050 is a plug-and-play device. Once properly connected as described in the Setup section, it will automatically provide power and data passthrough to the connected PoE device.

  • Device Compatibility: Ensure your connected device is compatible with 24V 0.5A passive PoE.

Maintenance

  • Ventilation: Ensure the power supply is placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Do not block ventilation openings.
