Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No power to connected device | Power cord not properly connected Wall outlet not functioning PoE device not compatible or faulty Incorrect voltage/polarity | Ensure power cord is securely plugged into both the power supply and the wall outlet. Test the wall outlet with another device. Verify the PoE device requires 24V 0.5A passive PoE. Test with a known working device. Check the specifications of your device against the power supply's output. |
| Network connectivity issues | Faulty Ethernet cables Incorrect port connection Network device issues | Replace Ethernet cables. Ensure LAN cable is in the LAN port and PoE device cable is in the POE port. Check your router/switch for issues. |
| Power supply feels hot | Poor ventilation Overload | Ensure adequate airflow around the unit. Do not cover. Verify the connected device's power requirements do not exceed 12W. |
