4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Physical Installation
The smart valve controller is designed for easy installation without professional assistance. It can be mounted over existing ball valves for water or gas lines.

4.2 App Pairing (Tuya Smart / Smart Life)
To control the valve remotely, pair it with the Tuya Smart or Smart Life application on your smartphone.
- Download the "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" app from your device's app store (iOS/Android).
- Register or log in to your account.
- Press and hold the pairing button on the smart valve controller until the Wi-Fi indicator light blinks rapidly.
- In the app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device. The app should automatically discover the "Smart valve controller."
- Follow the on-screen prompts to connect the device to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Enter your Wi-Fi password when requested.
- Once connected, you can rename the device for easier identification.

5. Operation
5.1 Remote Control via App
After successful pairing, you can control the valve from anywhere using the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app.
- Open the app and select your "Smart valve controller."
- Tap the "Open" or "Close" button to operate the valve.
- The app also allows for scheduling and countdown timers for automated operation.

5.2 Voice Control

5.3 Manual Override

- Locate the pull ring on the side of the smart valve controller.
- Pull the ring to disengage the motor, allowing you to manually turn the valve handle.
- Push the ring back in to re-engage the motor for smart control.
