1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the TRIBECCO Playground Swing Construction Kit. This kit provides the essential metal components to build a sturdy and safe garden or playground swing for children. 2. Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions could result in serious injury or death.

• Adult supervision is required at all times when children are using the swing.
• Ensure all components are securely fastened before each use. Regularly check for loose bolts, worn parts, or structural damage.
• Install the swing on level ground, at least 2 meters away from any structures, fences, trees, or other obstacles.
• The ground surface beneath the swing should be soft, such as wood chips, sand, or rubber mulch, to absorb falls. Avoid installing over concrete, asphalt, or hard-packed earth.
• Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 150 kg per pair of swing hangers.
• Only one child should use each swing seat at a time.
• Do not allow children to stand on the swing seat or swing excessively high.
• Protect wooden components from weather elements to prolong their lifespan.
• This kit does not include wooden beams. Ensure you use appropriate timber dimensions as specified in the assembly section.

3. Package Contents

Please verify that all items listed below are present in your package. If any parts are missing or damaged, please contact customer support.

• Two (2) Swing Frame Connectors: For the top beam (90x90 mm) and legs (90x90 mm).
• Four (4) Swing Hangers: 90x90 mm, with carabiner clips for attaching swing seats.
• Four (4) Post Shoes/Ground Anchors: For securing the swing frame to the ground.
• Twenty (20) Wood Screws: Torx type, 8 x 80 mm.

4. Setup & Assembly

This section provides step-by-step instructions for assembling your TRIBECCO swing frame.

4.1 Required Materials (Not Included)

• Five (5) Square Wooden Beams: 90 x 90 mm cross-section.
  • One (1) top beam: Length between 2 to 3 meters.
  • Four (4) leg beams: Approximately 2.5 meters each.
• Tools: Screwdriver with Torx (hexagonal) bit, hammer.

4.2 Assembly Steps

1. Prepare Wooden Beams: Ensure your wooden beams are cut to the recommended lengths.
2. Attach Frame Connectors: Insert the top beam (90x90 mm) into the horizontal sleeve of the red frame connectors. Insert the leg beams (90x90 mm) into the angled sleeves. The connectors are designed with pre-drilled holes on both sides for easy screw insertion.

3. Secure with Screws: Use the provided 8x80 mm Torx wood screws to firmly secure the wooden beams within the connectors. Drive one screw into each pre-drilled hole on both sides of the connector.
4. Install Swing Hangers: Attach the four swing hangers to the top beam. These hangers are designed to wrap around the 90x90 mm beam and provide a secure attachment point for swing seats.

5. Attach Ground Anchors: Secure the four post shoes/ground anchors to the bottom of each leg beam. These anchors are designed to be driven into the ground for stability.

6. Position and Secure Frame: Carefully lift and position the assembled swing frame in your desired location. Ensure the ground is level. Drive the ground anchors firmly into the earth using a hammer until the frame is stable.
7. Final Check: Double-check all connections and ensure the frame is stable and level before attaching any swing seats.

5. Operating Instructions

Once the swing frame is securely assembled and installed, you can attach your preferred swing seats (not included) to the carabiner clips on the swing hangers.

• Ensure swing seats are appropriate for the age and weight of the users.
• Always supervise children during play.
• Instruct children on safe swinging practices, such as not walking in front of or behind moving swings, and not twisting the swing chains.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and safety of your swing frame.

• Monthly Inspection: Check all bolts and screws for tightness. Tighten any loose fasteners.
• Seasonal Inspection: Before and after periods of heavy use or extreme weather, inspect the entire structure for signs of wear, rust, cracks in wooden beams, or damage to the metal components.
• Lubrication: Apply a suitable lubricant to the moving parts of the swing hangers if they begin to squeak or show resistance.
• Cleaning: Clean metal parts with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the powder coating or galvanized finish.
• Ground Anchors: Ensure ground anchors remain firmly embedded. Re-secure if any loosening is observed.
