Setup and Assembly
The SHA CERLIN Canopy Bed Frame is designed for easy assembly. It is recommended that two adults assemble the bed frame. Assembly typically takes approximately 30 minutes.
Preparation
- Clear an open space for assembly.
- Unpack all components and lay them out. Each component is clearly labeled.
- Refer to the included hardware pack for specific fasteners.
Assembly Steps (General Guidelines)
- Assemble the Headboard and Footboard: Connect the main headboard and footboard sections using the provided hardware.
- Attach Side Rails: Securely attach the side rails to the assembled headboard and footboard. Ensure all connections are firm.
- Install Center Support Legs: Attach any central support legs to the main frame for added stability.
- Place Slats: Lay the metal slats across the frame. The recessed design ensures slats are securely held in place and prevents shaking.
- Install Canopy Posts: Attach the four vertical canopy posts to the corners of the bed frame.
- Connect Canopy Rails: Secure the top canopy rails to the vertical posts, forming the canopy structure.
- Final Tightening: Once all parts are in place, go back and ensure all screws and bolts are fully tightened. Do not overtighten.

Maintenance
Proper care will ensure the longevity and appearance of your SHA CERLIN Canopy Bed Frame.
- Cleaning: Wipe the metal frame with a dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, which can damage the finish.
- Inspections: Periodically check all bolts and screws to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain stability and prevent squeaking.
- Weight Limit: Adhere strictly to the 800 lbs weight limit to prevent structural damage.
Troubleshooting
Here are solutions to common issues you might encounter:
- Squeaking Noises:
Ensure all bolts and screws are securely tightened. The frame is designed with noise-reducing features (EVA sponge), but loose connections can still cause noise. Re-check all connections, especially where metal parts meet.
- Mattress Sliding:
If your mattress tends to slide on the metal slats, consider placing anti-slip pads or strips between the mattress and the slats. These can be purchased separately.
- Instability/Wobbling:
Verify that the bed frame is assembled on a flat, level surface. Check that all support legs are making full contact with the floor and that all connections are fully tightened.
- Missing or Damaged Parts:
If you find any parts missing or damaged upon unboxing, do not proceed with assembly. Contact SHA CERLIN customer support immediately for assistance.
