2. Setup
2.1 Unboxing
Your CIGA Design Blue Planet watch comes in a distinctive booklet-style packaging. Carefully open the box to reveal your watch, warranty card, and any included accessories.

2.2 Initial Winding
The CIGA Design Blue Planet watch features an automatic mechanical movement. If the watch has stopped, it requires initial winding to start. To wind the watch:
- Ensure the crown is fully pushed in (position 1).
- Rotate the crown clockwise approximately 30-40 times. This will build up a power reserve to start the movement.
- Once started, the watch will continue to wind itself through the motion of your wrist during wear.
2.3 Setting the Time
The Blue Planet watch uses a unique single-pointer system to display time. The pointer indicates both hours and minutes simultaneously.
- Pull the crown out to position 2.
- Rotate the crown to move the single pointer. The outer ring represents minutes (0-60), and the inner ring represents hours (1-12).
- When the hour hand rotates 30°, the minute hand rotates 390°. This innovative gear ratio allows the single pointer to accurately display both time units.
- Once the desired time is set, push the crown back into position 1.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Reading the Time
The watch features a micro-engraved Earth terrain dial with a single pointer. The pointer's position relative to the outer minute track and inner hour track indicates the current time. The innovative movement ensures precise timekeeping with this unique display.
3.2 Water Resistance
Your CIGA Design Blue Planet watch is 3ATM water resistant. This means it is suitable for daily use and can withstand splashes or rain. However, it is not designed for showering, bathing, swimming, snorkeling, diving, fishing, or any water-related activities where it would be submerged or exposed to high-pressure water.

4.1 Cleaning Your Watch
To maintain the appearance of your watch:
- Wipe the case and sapphire crystal with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
- For the fluororubber strap, you can use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap, then rinse and dry thoroughly.

The fluororubber strap is designed for durability and comfort. It is resistant to abrasions, corrosion, and temperature changes, and tends to repel dust more effectively than silicone straps. Regular cleaning as described above will keep it in good condition.

When not wearing your watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and strong magnetic fields. The original packaging can serve as a suitable storage option.
5. Troubleshooting
- Watch Not Running: If the watch has stopped, manually wind it by rotating the crown clockwise 30-40 times while it is in position 1. If the watch still does not start after winding and wearing, contact customer support.
- Time Inaccuracy: Automatic watches may have slight variations in timekeeping. If you notice significant or consistent inaccuracy, ensure the watch is being worn regularly enough to maintain its power reserve. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
