3. Installation

Follow these steps to properly install the Demeras GD01 LCD Display on your electric bicycle.

1. Prepare the Handlebar: Ensure the handlebar area where the display will be mounted is clean and free of obstructions. The GD01 display is designed for handlebars with a diameter of 22.2mm (0.9 inches).
2. Mount the Display: Securely attach the LCD display unit and its button panel to the handlebar. Adjust the viewing angle for optimal visibility while riding.
3. Connect to Controller: With the electric bicycle powered off, connect the display's connector to the corresponding connector on your electric bicycle's controller. Ensure the connection is firm and correctly aligned.
4. Verify Installation: Once connected, turn on the electric bicycle's power. The display should power on and enter its normal operating state, indicating a successful installation.

4. Operation

The GD01 LCD display provides intuitive controls and clear data presentation for an informed ride.

4.1 Power On/Off

To power on the display, ensure the electric bicycle's main power is on, then press and hold the M button for approximately 3 seconds. To power off, repeat the same action by pressing and holding the M button for 3 seconds.

4.2 Displayed Data

Once powered on, the GD01 display will show various useful data points:

• Battery Power: Real-time indication of remaining battery charge.
• Speed: Current riding speed.
• Mileage: Records the distance traveled.
• Other Parameters: May include power consumption, assist level, etc., depending on the controller's capabilities.

4.3 Button Functions

The display features three buttons: +, M, and -.

• M Button: Used for powering the unit on/off (long press) and potentially for cycling through display modes or confirming selections (short press, depending on controller configuration).
• + Button: Typically used to increase values, such as assist level, or navigate upwards in menus.
• - Button: Typically used to decrease values, such as assist level, or navigate downwards in menus.
