Setup and Installation
This lamp post is designed for hardwired installation. Professional installation is recommended. Ensure power is OFF at the circuit breaker before proceeding.
- Prepare the Base: The lamp post requires a stable cement base. You can install it in fresh concrete or replace an existing post base with bolts 7.68 inches apart. A template card is provided for accurate positioning of the anchor bolts.
- Assemble the Post: Carefully connect the bottom column to the post base using the provided machine screws. Then, attach the top column to the middle column by threading.
- Wiring: Connect the supply wire and ground wire according to local electrical codes. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated.
- Attach Lamp Heads: Secure the three lamp heads to the top of the post assembly.
- Install Bulbs: Insert three E26 base bulbs (max 100W each, not included) into the sockets. The bottom opening design allows for easy bulb replacement without tools.
- Secure Glass Panels: Ensure all tempered glass panels are securely in place within each lamp head.

Operating Instructions
The VIANIS V86123BK lamp post features a built-in dusk-to-dawn sensor for automatic operation.
- Once properly installed and power is supplied, the lamp post will automatically turn on at dusk when ambient light levels fall below a certain threshold.
- It will automatically turn off at dawn when sufficient ambient light is detected.
- No manual operation is required for daily use.
