1. Introduction

The Kinderkraft GRANDE PLUS is a versatile stroller designed for children from birth up to 22 kg (approximately 4 years of age). This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your stroller. 2. Setup and Initial Assembly

The GRANDE PLUS stroller is designed for straightforward assembly. Upon unboxing, ensure all components are present. The stroller can be folded with the seat attached, utilizing the CLICK & FOLD mechanism integrated into the handle, which also simplifies initial setup.

2.1 Unfolding the Stroller

1. Place the folded stroller on a flat surface.
2. Release any locking mechanisms that secure the stroller in its folded position.
3. Lift the handle firmly until the frame clicks into its fully open position. Ensure all locking mechanisms are engaged before placing a child in the stroller.

2.2 Attaching Wheels and Accessories

If the wheels are not pre-attached, slide them onto their respective axles until they click securely into place. Ensure the bumper bar is correctly installed by clicking it into the designated slots on both sides of the seat.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Folding and Unfolding

The GRANDE PLUS features a convenient one-hand folding system. Locate the CLICK & FOLD mechanism on the handle. Press the button and pull the handle to fold the stroller into a compact size. To unfold, release the lock and lift the handle until the frame locks into place.

3.2 Seat and Footrest Adjustment

• Backrest: The spacious seat's backrest can be continuously and silently reclined to a lie-flat position, ideal for naps. Use the adjustment strap or lever located behind the backrest.
• Footrest: The footrest offers 4 levels of adjustment to provide optimal comfort for your child as they grow. Adjust by pressing the buttons on either side of the footrest.

3.3 Safety Harness

The stroller is equipped with an adjustable 5-point safety harness, complete with soft pads and crotch protection. Always secure your child with the harness when the stroller is in use. Adjust the straps to ensure a snug, safe fit.

3.4 Canopy Features

The large, extendable canopy provides protection from various weather conditions. It features a window at the rear, allowing you to maintain contact with your child. A pocket for small items is also located on the back of the canopy for parent convenience.

3.5 Wheels and Brake System

• Wheels: All four wheels are shock-absorbed and made of durable, puncture-resistant EVA foam, requiring no inflation. The front wheels swivel 360 degrees for easy maneuverability.
• Wheel Lock: For travel over rougher terrain or in a straight line, the front wheels can be locked using the locking mechanism.
• Brake: The convenient STOP & RIDE central brake is operated from the top, preventing damage to footwear. Press down to engage and lift to release.

3.6 Detachable Bumper Bar

The safety bar can be easily removed from both sides, facilitating easier placement and removal of your child from the stroller.

4. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your Kinderkraft GRANDE PLUS stroller.

• Cleaning: Clean the stroller with a mild detergent and lukewarm water. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals. Ensure all materials used are safe for steel, polyester, and EVA foam.
• Fabric Care: The fabric is abrasion and weather-resistant polyester. Spot clean as needed.
• Frame Care: The steel frame should be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly to prevent rust.
• Wheel Care: Periodically check wheels for debris and ensure they rotate freely.
• Storage: Store the stroller in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

5. Troubleshooting

• Stroller not folding/unfolding smoothly: Ensure all components are aligned correctly and no fabric is caught in the mechanism. Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to moving parts if necessary.
