  3. Wrap the threads of the adapter with the provided Teflon tape to ensure a watertight seal.
  4. Screw the adapter onto your faucet.
  5. Attach the OEMIRY faucet filter unit to the adapter by twisting it until secure. Ensure it is firmly attached to prevent leaks.
  6. Once installed, turn on the cold water and let it run through the filter for 5 minutes to flush out any carbon fines and prepare the filter for use.

4. Operating Instructions

The OEMIRY OM-WF01 Faucet Water Filter features a simple switch to select between filtered and unfiltered water.

  • For Filtered Water: Turn the switch on the side of the filter unit to the position that directs water through the filter.
  • For Unfiltered Water: Turn the switch to the position that bypasses the filter, allowing regular tap water flow for washing dishes or other non-drinking uses.

Always use cold water when operating the filter. Hot water can damage the filter cartridge and reduce its effectiveness.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Filter Replacement

For optimal performance and water quality, the filter cartridge should be replaced regularly. Each filter has a maximum service life of 3 months or 320 gallons, whichever comes first. This lifespan may vary depending on local water quality and usage.
