1. High-paw Tic-Tac-Toe
Objective: Be the first player to get three of your game pieces in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally).
- Setup: Use one of the double-sided game cards with a 3x3 grid. Each player chooses a distinct set of game pieces (e.g., two different colors of checkers pieces or character tokens).
- Gameplay: Players take turns placing one of their game pieces on an empty space on the grid. The first player to achieve three of their pieces in a line wins the round.
2. Cat-credible Checkers
Objective: Capture all of your opponent's checkers pieces or block them from making any legal moves.
- Setup: Use the game card with the checkers board pattern. Each player takes 12 checkers pieces of one color and places them on the dark squares of the first three rows closest to them.
- Gameplay: Players take turns moving their pieces diagonally forward one square. To capture an opponent's piece, jump over it diagonally to an empty square beyond it. Captured pieces are removed from the board. If a piece reaches the opponent's back row, it becomes a "king" and can move and capture backward.
3. Gab-tastic Go Fish
Objective: Collect the most sets of four matching playing cards.
- Setup: Shuffle the 36 playing cards. Deal 5 cards to each player (7 cards for 2 players). Place the remaining cards face down in a draw pile.
- Gameplay: On a player's turn, they ask another player for a specific card rank (e.g., "Do you have any Pandy Paws cards?"). If the asked player has any cards of that rank, they must give all of them to the asking player. If not, they say "Go Fish!", and the asking player draws one card from the draw pile. If the asking player gets the card they asked for (either from another player or by drawing), they get another turn. When a player collects four cards of the same rank, they show the set and place it face up in front of them. The game ends when all cards have been collected into sets. The player with the most sets wins.
4. Magical Memory Match
Objective: Collect the most pairs of matching cards.
- Setup: Select a set of matching pairs from the playing cards (e.g., 10-20 pairs depending on desired difficulty). Shuffle these cards thoroughly and lay them face down in a grid pattern.
- Gameplay: Players take turns flipping over two cards. If the cards match, the player keeps the pair and takes another turn. If they do not match, the player flips them back face down, and it becomes the next player's turn. Players try to remember the location of cards. The game ends when all pairs have been found. The player with the most pairs wins.
5. A-meow-zing Bingo
Objective: Be the first player to complete a row, column, or diagonal on their Bingo card.
- Setup: Each player receives a unique Bingo game card. Place the remaining playing cards (or a designated set of calling cards) face down in a draw pile. Each player also needs several small markers (e.g., checkers pieces or small tokens).
- Gameplay: A designated caller draws one card at a time from the draw pile and announces the character or image on it. Players check their Bingo cards for the announced item. If they have it, they place a marker on that space. The first player to get a complete line (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) shouts "Bingo!" and wins the round.
6. Purr-ific Hide and Seek
Objective: One player hides a small token, and others try to find it.
- Setup: Designate one player as the "hider" and the others as "seekers." The hider chooses a small game token.
- Gameplay: The hider secretly places the token somewhere within a defined play area (e.g., around the dollhouse gameboard or a small room). The seekers then search for the token. The first player to find the token becomes the next hider. This game can be adapted for cooperative play where all players work together to find the hidden item.
7. Incredi-cat Cards
Objective: This game is a variation of a classic card game, often "Crazy Eights" or "Uno" style, using the themed playing cards.
- Setup: Shuffle the 36 playing cards. Deal 5-7 cards to each player. Place one card face up to start a discard pile and the rest face down as a draw pile.
- Gameplay: Players take turns matching the top card of the discard pile by either character/color or number (if applicable). Special cards (e.g., "skip," "reverse," "draw two") can be introduced based on common card game rules. If a player cannot play a card, they draw from the draw pile until they can play or pass their turn. The first player to empty their hand wins.
8. Garden Party Race
Objective: Be the first player to move their game piece from start to finish on a designated race track game card.
- Setup: Use a double-sided game card that features a race track. Each player chooses a game piece and places it on the "Start" space. A standard die (not included) or a spinner (if provided on a punch sheet) is needed.
- Gameplay: Players take turns rolling the die (or spinning the spinner) and moving their game piece the corresponding number of spaces along the track. Follow any special instructions on spaces (e.g., "move forward 2 spaces," "lose a turn"). The first player to reach the "Finish" space wins.
Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: Wipe game components with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage the printed surfaces.
- Storage: Store all game pieces and the assembled dollhouse gameboard in the original box or a suitable container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure all small pieces are kept together to prevent loss.
- Handling: Handle game cards and punch-out pieces carefully to prevent bending, tearing, or creasing.
