Setup

1. Charging the Camera

Before first use, fully charge the camera. Connect the provided USB cable to the camera's Micro USB port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port. The indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged. A full charge provides approximately 1.5 hours of battery life.

2. Inserting the Micro SD Card

The camera comes with a 32GB Micro SD card. Gently insert the Micro SD card into the card slot with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place. To remove, push the card in again until it springs out.

Note: The camera supports loop recording, meaning older files will be overwritten when the SD card is full. Ensure important recordings are backed up regularly.

3. Downloading the App and Connecting to Wi-Fi

1. Download App: Search for the recommended app (refer to the specific app name in your camera's quick start guide, typically mentioned as "App" in the product description) on your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android) and install it.
2. Power On Camera: Press and hold the Power button on the camera until the indicator light turns on.
3. Connect to Camera's Wi-Fi: Go to your smartphone's Wi-Fi settings. Find and connect to the camera's Wi-Fi hotspot (it will typically start with "IPC-" or similar). No password is usually required for the initial connection.
4. Add Camera to App: Open the downloaded app. Follow the in-app instructions to add your camera. This usually involves scanning a QR code on the camera or selecting it from a list of nearby devices.
5. Connect to Home Wi-Fi (Optional but Recommended): Within the app, navigate to the camera settings. Select your home 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password. This allows you to view live video from anywhere in the world.

Operating Instructions

1. Live View

Once connected to the app, tap on the camera feed to access the live view. You can monitor the area in real-time from your smartphone.

2. Video Recording

• Manual Recording: In the live view interface of the app, tap the record button to start/stop manual recording. Videos will be saved to the Micro SD card and can also be downloaded to your phone.
• Loop Recording: The camera automatically supports loop recording. When the Micro SD card is full, the oldest files will be overwritten to make space for new recordings.

3. Motion Detection

The camera features motion detection, which can be configured via the app.

• Enable Motion Detection: Go to the camera settings in the app and enable "Motion Detection."
• Alerts: When motion is detected within 16 feet, the camera will automatically start recording and send push notifications with video clips to your smartphone.
• Sensitivity: Adjust motion detection sensitivity in the app settings to minimize false alarms.

4. Night Vision

The camera is equipped with 6 advanced infrared LED lights for clear night vision, even in total darkness. The IR lights are not visible during operation.

• Automatic Activation: Night vision activates automatically in low-light conditions.

Maintenance
