Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the heated blanket from its packaging.
  2. Inspect: Check the blanket, power cord, and controller for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
  3. Connect Controller: Ensure the controller cable is securely plugged into the blanket's connector.
  4. Placement: Lay the blanket flat on a bed, couch, or other desired surface. Ensure there are no kinks or folds in the heating wires.
  5. Plug In: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Press the power button on the controller to turn the blanket on. The indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Adjust Heat Level: Press the heat level button to cycle through the 5 available heat settings: Warm, Low, Med, High. The corresponding indicator light will show the selected level. (86℉-112℉)
  3. Set Auto-Off Timer: The blanket features a 4-hour auto-off timer for safety. It will automatically shut off after 4 hours of continuous use.
  4. Power Off: Press the power button again to turn the blanket off. Unplug the blanket from the wall outlet when not in use.

Maintenance

Cleaning Instructions:

The CAROMIO Heated Blanket is machine washable. Follow these steps for proper cleaning:

  1. Disconnect: Always unplug the blanket from the wall outlet and detach the controller from the blanket before cleaning.
  2. Machine Wash: Wash the blanket in cold water on a gentle cycle.
  3. Detergent: Use a mild detergent. Do not use bleach.
  4. Rinse: Rinse thoroughly.
  5. Tumble Dry: Tumble dry on low heat.
  6. Reshape: After washing and drying, gently stretch the blanket to its original size for optimal performance.
  7. Storage: Store the blanket in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Care and Storage:

  • Do not dry clean, as cleaning solvents may damage the insulation of the heating element.
  • Do not iron the blanket.
  • Avoid folding the blanket tightly when storing to prevent damage to the internal wiring.

Troubleshooting
