This two-function shower valve is not designed for installation with a tub spout. Attempting to connect a tub spout may result in improper function or damage.
Operating Instructions
The NERDON shower system features a single handle for temperature control and a diverter knob for switching between the rain shower head and the handheld shower head.

Figure 8: Two-Function Shower System Control
- Temperature Control: Rotate the main handle to adjust the water temperature. The pressure balance valve maintains consistent temperature, preventing sudden changes.
- Function Selection: Use the small knob on the trim plate to switch between the 12-inch rain shower head and the handheld shower head.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Clean the shower heads and trim with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the brushed nickel finish.
- Silicone Nozzles: The rain shower head and handheld shower head feature easy-clean silicone nozzles. Periodically rub the nozzles to dislodge any mineral buildup and maintain optimal spray performance.
- Regular Inspection: Periodically check all connections for leaks and ensure the shower hose is free from kinks or damage.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Low water pressure | Mineral buildup in nozzles; partially closed water supply valve. | Clean silicone nozzles; ensure main water supply valve is fully open. |
| Water leaks from connections | Loose connections; worn out plumber's tape. | Tighten connections; reapply plumber's tape. |
| Inconsistent water temperature | Pressure balance valve issue (rare); hot/cold water supply problems. | Verify hot and cold water supply; if issue persists, contact support. |
| Diverter not switching properly | Debris in valve; worn diverter cartridge. | Flush the system; if issue persists, contact support. |
