5. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your X96 Max Plus Ultra TV Box:

  1. Connect to TV: Connect one end of the HD cable to the HD port on the TV Box and the other end to an available HDMI input on your television. Note the HDMI input number (e.g., HDMI 1, HDMI 2).
  2. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the DC port on the TV Box, then plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
  3. Connect to Network (Optional):
    • Wired Connection: Connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the ETHERNET port on the TV Box.
    • Wireless Connection: Skip this step for now; you will configure Wi-Fi later in the software settings.
  4. Connect Peripherals (Optional): Insert the USB receiver for the i8 keyboard into any USB port on the TV Box. You can also connect other USB devices like a mouse or external storage.
  5. Power On: The TV Box should power on automatically once connected to power. If not, press the power button on the included IR remote control.
  6. Select Input: Turn on your TV and use your TV's remote control to select the correct HDMI input source that the TV Box is connected to.
  7. Initial Setup: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup, which may include language selection, network configuration (if using Wi-Fi), and Google account login.
