Setup and First Use

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the toaster and all packaging materials from the box. Ensure all protective films and inserts are removed from the toaster slots and exterior.
2. Placement: Place the toaster on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or cabinets to allow for proper ventilation. Utilize the integrated cord wrap storage on the bottom to keep countertops tidy.
3. Power Connection: Plug the toaster into a grounded 240V AC electrical outlet.
4. Initial Run: Before first use, operate the toaster empty on the highest browning setting (darkest) to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present; this is normal and will dissipate. Allow the toaster to cool completely.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Removable Crumb Tray

3. Discard accumulated crumbs.

Troubleshooting

• Uneven Toasting: Ensure bread slices are centered in the slots. The auto-centering guides should assist with this. If issues persist, try adjusting the browning level.
• Bread Jamming: The toaster is equipped with an anti-jam feature. If bread becomes jammed, unplug the toaster immediately and allow it to cool before carefully removing the bread. Do not use metal utensils.
• Toaster Not Functioning: Check if the toaster is properly plugged into a working electrical outlet. Ensure the browning lever is fully depressed.
