LEMENG Ultrasonic Solar Animal Repeller User Manual
Model: B09ZYS31HB
1. Introduction
The LEMENG Ultrasonic Solar Animal Repeller is an advanced device designed to humanely deter various animals from your property using ultrasonic waves, flashing lights, and audible alarms. Equipped with a sensitive Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor, it detects animal movement and activates its deterrent functions, providing effective protection for your garden, yard, or outdoor areas without causing harm to animals or humans.
2. Product Features
- Ultrasonic Protection: Emits ultrasonic waves in a frequency range of 13.5 kHz to 45.5 kHz, which are safe for humans and harmless to animals.
- Infrared (PIR) Sensor: Detects animal movement within a 120-degree arc and up to 30 feet (10 meters) distance, triggering the deterrent.
- Multi-functional Deterrence: Combines ultrasonic waves with strong flashing LED lights and an optional audible alarm for enhanced effectiveness.
- Dual Charging Methods: Features a solar panel for continuous charging in sunlight and a USB port for initial charging or when sunlight is insufficient. Includes a 2000 mAh rechargeable lithium battery.
- Adjustable Modes: Offers 5 adjustable operating modes with variable frequencies to target different animal types and prevent adaptation.
- Durable and Waterproof: IP66 waterproof rating ensures resistance to normal rain, making it suitable for outdoor use.
- Easy Installation: Can be easily installed by inserting into the ground with a support rod or hung on a fence/wall.

4.3 Mounting Options
The repeller offers two primary installation methods:
- Ground Insertion: Connect the detachable fixing tubes (mounting poles) to the bottom of the repeller unit. Insert the assembled unit firmly into the ground in the desired area. The height can be adjusted using the two fixed rods.
- Suspension: Utilize the hook hole on the back of the unit to hang it on a fence, wall, or other suitable structure.

5. Operating Modes
The LEMENG Animal Repeller features a control knob (7) to select from 5 adjustable modes, allowing you to customize the deterrent based on the target animal and situation. Another knob (6) controls the audible alarm volume.

Image: Operating modes and control knobs.
| Mode | Frequency/Function | Target Animals/Description |
|---|---|---|
| 0 | OFF | The device is turned off. |
| 1 | 13.5 kHz - 19.5 kHz | Repels mice, rats, dogs, foxes, minks, and similar animals. |
| 2 | 19.5 kHz - 24.5 kHz | Repels cats, raccoons, skunks, and similar animals. |
| 3 | 24.5 kHz - 45.5 kHz | Repels bats, birds, rodents, and similar animals. |
| 4 | Strong Flashing Light | Scare away raccoons, wild boars, minks, and other animals primarily by visual deterrent. |
| 5 | Variable Frequency & Flashing LED | Repels all animals and birds by cycling through variable frequencies and continuous flashing LED lights. This mode is highly effective against aggressive animals that might adapt to a single frequency. |
To adjust the audible alarm volume, use the control knob labeled 'Audible Alarm Control (Volume +/-)' (6). You can turn it off or lower the volume if the alarm sound is bothersome to people or neighbors.
6. Charging
The LEMENG Animal Repeller supports two charging methods to ensure continuous operation:
- Solar Charging: The integrated solar panel (2) on top of the unit charges the internal 2000 mAh lithium battery when exposed to sunlight. This is the primary method for maintaining charge during outdoor use.
- USB Charging: For initial charging, or during prolonged periods of low sunlight, use the provided USB cable to charge the device via the micro USB charging port (9). Connect to a standard 5V 1A USB power adapter.

The PIR sensor (5) also functions as a charge indicator: Blue light indicates charging, and Red light indicates fully charged or working status.
7. Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the solar panel and sensor window with a soft, damp cloth to ensure optimal performance. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Water Exposure: While the device has an IP66 waterproof rating, meaning it can withstand normal rain, do not immerse the product in water. During severe thunderstorms or heavy rainfall, it is advisable to bring the unit indoors to prevent potential damage.
- Battery Life: To ensure the full deterrent effect, it is recommended to regularly check the device's functionality and charge level. If the device's functions (ultrasound, flash, or alarm) seem to weaken, the battery may be low and requires recharging.
- Placement: Avoid placing the device in areas where it might be frequently tilted or dropped, as this can damage the internal components or the grounding stake.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Device not activating or weak performance. | Low battery charge. | Charge the battery fully using the USB cable. Ensure the solar panel receives adequate sunlight. |
| Animals are not deterred. | Incorrect mode selected or animals have adapted. | Try a different operating mode, especially Mode 5 (variable frequency). Note that full deterrent effect may take 10-15 days. |
| Audible alarm is too loud or annoying. | Volume set too high. | Adjust the 'Audible Alarm Control' knob (6) to lower the volume or turn it off. |
| Device damaged after rain. | Immersion in water or severe weather exposure. | The device is IP66 rated but not submersible. Avoid immersing it in water. Bring indoors during severe weather. |
| PIR sensor not detecting movement. | Obstruction or incorrect angle. | Ensure the sensor is clear of debris and positioned correctly to cover the desired area. |
