Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps carefully to assemble your Recaceik Queen Size Bed Frame. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.
Step 1: Prepare the Area and Identify Parts
Clear a spacious area for assembly. Lay out all components and hardware. Ensure you have the headboard, side rails, footboard, center support, metal slats, and all necessary screws and tools.

Step 2: Attach the Headboard to Side Rails
Connect the upholstered headboard to the main frame structure. Ensure the headboard is securely fastened to the vertical supports of the frame using the provided bolts and an Allen wrench.

Step 3: Assemble the Main Frame
Connect the side rails to the footboard and the headboard assembly. Ensure all corner connections are tight and stable. The frame should form a rigid rectangular structure.

Step 4: Install Center Support and Slats
Place the center support beam(s) across the width of the frame, securing them as per the instructions. Then, lay the metal slats evenly across the frame, ensuring they are properly seated in their designated slots or attached with provided fasteners. This provides the mattress support.

Step 5: Final Inspection
Once all components are assembled, double-check all bolts and screws to ensure they are tightened securely. The frame should be stable and free of wobbling. Place your mattress directly on the slats.

Operating and Usage
- Mattress Placement: Place your queen-size mattress directly onto the metal slats. A box spring is not required for this bed frame.
- Weight Capacity: The bed frame is designed to support a maximum weight of 800 pounds, including the mattress and occupants.
- Under-Bed Storage: Utilize the 14 inches of under-bed clearance for storage boxes, luggage, or other items to maximize space in your bedroom.
Maintenance
- Cleaning the Frame: Wipe the metal frame with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Dry immediately to prevent rust. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Cleaning the Headboard: For the leather upholstered headboard, wipe with a soft, damp cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a leather-specific cleaner according to its instructions.
- Regular Inspection: Periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months) check all bolts and screws to ensure they are tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain stability and prevent noise.
Troubleshooting
- Issue: Bed frame is wobbly or unstable.
- Solution: Ensure all bolts and screws are fully tightened. Check that all legs are making firm contact with the floor. If on an uneven surface, consider using furniture pads to level the frame.
- Issue: Squeaking noises from the bed frame.
- Solution: Retighten all assembly hardware. Ensure metal slats are properly seated and not rubbing against each other or the frame. Applying a small amount of lubricant (e.g., silicone spray) to contact points between metal parts can help, but ensure it does not damage the finish.
- Issue: Mattress sags or feels unsupported.
- Solution: Verify that all metal slats are correctly installed and evenly spaced. Ensure the center support beam(s) are securely in place and their support legs are firm on the floor. This frame is designed for use without a box spring; ensure your mattress is compatible with a slat support system.
