1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the iafer Digital Pen. This active capacity stylus pen is designed to enhance your interaction with compatible Lenovo touchscreen laptops, offering a natural and intuitive writing and drawing experience. With advanced pressure sensitivity and convenient features, it's an ideal tool for creative work, note-taking, and general navigation.

2. Setup

2.1 Package Contents

Upon unboxing, please ensure all components are present:

2.2 Charging the Pen

The iafer Digital Pen features a unique pogo-pin design for fast, any-direction charging. To charge the pen:

1. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the pen charger.
2. Plug the other end of the USB-C cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
3. Place the iafer Digital Pen into the charging station. The indicator light will change from red to green when charging is complete.

A quick 20-second charge provides approximately 70 minutes of use. A full charge typically takes longer and provides extended usage time.

2.3 Initial Connection

The iafer Digital Pen does not require Bluetooth pairing. Once charged, simply bring the pen close to your compatible Lenovo touchscreen laptop. The laptop will automatically detect the pen, and it will be ready for immediate use.

3. Operating the Digital Pen

3.1 Basic Usage

The iafer Digital Pen is designed for a seamless and natural writing and drawing experience. Simply touch the pen tip to your compatible touchscreen to begin. The pen's palm rejection feature allows you to comfortably rest your hand on the screen without interfering with your input.

3.2 Pressure Sensitivity

The pen features 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity, allowing for varying line thickness and opacity based on the pressure applied. This precise control is ideal for detailed artwork, nuanced sketches, and dynamic note-taking.

3.3 Side Button Functions

The iafer Digital Pen is equipped with two built-in side buttons for enhanced functionality:

• Right-click: The upper button typically functions as a right-click, providing quick access to context menus.
• Erase: The lower button usually activates an erase function, allowing for easy corrections.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Replacing the Pen Tip

Over time, the pen tip may wear down. To replace it:

1. Gently pull the old pen tip straight out from the pen body.
2. Carefully insert a new pen tip into the opening until it is firmly seated.

4.2 Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance and appearance, wipe the pen and charger with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

4.3 Storage

Store the iafer Digital Pen in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. When not in use, it is recommended to store the pen in its charging station or a protective case to prevent damage.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Pen Not Responding

• Check Charge: Ensure the pen is sufficiently charged. Place it in the charging station for at least 20 seconds.
• Compatibility: Double-check that your laptop model is listed as compatible. Incompatible devices will not register pen input correctly.
• Restart Device: Sometimes, a simple restart of your laptop can resolve connectivity issues.

5.2 Inaccurate Tracking or Lag

• Clean Screen: Dust or smudges on the screen can interfere with tracking. Clean your screen thoroughly.

• Software Interference: Close any unnecessary applications running in the background that might be consuming system resources.
