Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and dispose of them properly.
- Clean: Before first use, wash the glass carafe, reusable filter, and filter basket in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth.
- First Brew Cycle (Cleaning):
- Fill the water reservoir with clean water up to the MAX level (6 cups).
- Place the empty reusable filter and filter basket into their designated positions.
- Place the empty glass carafe on the heating plate.
- Plug the coffee maker into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Press the power button to start a brewing cycle without coffee.
- Allow the cycle to complete. Discard the hot water from the carafe.
- Repeat this cleaning cycle 2-3 times to ensure the appliance is thoroughly cleaned and free of any manufacturing residues.
Operating Instructions
- Fill Water Reservoir: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water. Use the water level indicator on the side to measure the desired number of cups (up to 6). Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
- Add Coffee Grounds: Place the reusable nylon filter into the filter basket. Add the desired amount of ground coffee to the filter. A general guideline is one level tablespoon of coffee grounds per cup, but adjust to your taste. Close the lid securely.
- Position Carafe: Place the empty glass carafe with its lid on the heating plate, ensuring it is centered to activate the drip-stop mechanism.
- Start Brewing: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. Press the power button. The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the brewing process has begun.
- Brewing Complete: The coffee maker will automatically stop brewing once the water reservoir is empty. The heating plate will keep the coffee warm.
- Serve: Carefully remove the carafe from the heating plate and pour your freshly brewed coffee. The drip-stop feature will prevent coffee from dripping when the carafe is removed.

- Daily Cleaning:

- Descaling (Monthly or Bi-Monthly):

- Mix a solution of white vinegar and water (1:2 ratio, e.g., 1 cup vinegar to 2 cups water).
- Pour the solution into the water reservoir.
